That is pretty funny huh Les...
For all that don't have a clue:
Reine signed with LSU and was redshirted
NCAA reduced the amount of scholarships each team could give
Reine was dropped in the reduction and had to sit out 1 year of Div 1
He went to Grayson CC last year
OU picked him up this year

What people (his family) seem to have a problem understanding is that the kid has the talent, but doesn't have the characteristics our coach requires of his players to be on this team. Now, if the roster limit had been at 37 or 38, he prob could still be here.

At the end of the 2008 season I asked a couple players who they thought would be gone for sure. Every one said Reine. It's only the people from Walker that come on here to hold his sack.

my name is Alex Reine and cody is my cousin. LSU wanted to send him to LSUE but cody declined and decided to go to Grayson. LSU wanted to pick him back up but he decided to go to OU. now on the other hand it was PM choice and he felt like it was a good one for the team and i dont hate him for it. hell PM won us a national championship. do i wish cody was still at LSU? yes, but all we care about is cody getting his education and having a good baseball career while doing it. lol in fact i told cody i can only pool for OU baseball and deff not football.

also for people who dont know, cody has only started half the season at OU, and since starting he has been in the top of most all the team hitting categories and even leads some of them.

I do not know Cody perrsonally at all. However I did go to a lot of fall practice in 08 and said he was one of the best hitters of the FR that year and didn't know why he got cut. Below is the thread where I say he can flat out hit and you say he sucks.
