And what if he tanks next year? Will he still have subpar seasons?

les will be here for at least 5 more years , everyone should know by now when the hatter is down he pulls off an amazing season , bookmark this post for next years title run .....

It'll be another terrible season unless Miles gets a new OC that runs a radically different and markedly improved offense.

Even the "outlier" season of '13 was a 10-3 year with a 2-possession loss to Alabama.

What's the deal with these choices?

My dream longshot is Jimbo Fisher, but realistically I'd love Fuente from Memphis. It's amazing what he's done with that program, and he worked under Gary Patterson at TCU for quite awhile. He's a young couch more than ready for a big time program.

If we were to make a change, I either want this guy or James Franklin. He's got SEC ties and any coach that can post back-to-back 9 wins seasons at VANDERBILT is a guy that I want to give a serious look.

Can you imagine if our defensive coaches were Ed Orgeron (DL), Corey Raymond (DB), Kevin Steele (LB) and Bob Shoop (DC)? I doubt that teams would score double-digits on us for the entire season!

Keep Cameron (OC/QB), Grimes (OL), and Wilson (RB) on the offensive side, tell Ensminger (TE) to take a hike, give Ball (WR) a chance to earn his paycheck, and you're looking at probably the greatest collection of Asst. Coaches ever assembled.

[/pipe dream]

I also have my eyes on Fuente. I have a feeling he's gonna be on the Saban/Meyer level once he gets his hands on a big time program.

I wish Miles would have eliminated that cancer earlier in the season.

I forgot about Franklin! I'd love that hire. He's also an incredible recruiter!

Anyone that says he wouldn't welcome Jimbo back to LSU with open arms is either a fool or a troll.

And no one saw Saban going to Bama and no one saw Harbaugh going to Michigan.

I've learned my lesson on coaching changes - anything can happen and smoke usually equals fire. fricking even Bama fans know Saban was a presser away from going to Texas.
