Something tells me that while Miles has decided for Harris to take the first snap, he's still undecided on the second snap and on. Why can't Miles just say Harris is our starter and Jennings is the backup and that's that.

Too bad half you idiots weren't around when Hodson played. Everyone's favorite player was the back up qb. Tiger Stadium screamed for Mickey Guidry after a bad performance by Tommy. My fear is that he's going to have a much quicker hook for Harris than he did with Jennings. If Harris runs into trouble, hes going with the more experienced QB. So he's not going to come out and publicly say "Harris is my starter. Jennings is the backup." He thinks he may have to go back to Jennings at some point so he's avoided calling Harris the starter and keeps dropping nuggets about both guys playing

I said this few weeks ago that this was already decided few weeks ago in my thread it this will be decided by 8/30 he will be the starter.

This is all about managing Jennings' delicate psyche. Harris is the guy, but he has to give AJ some hope so he will keep his head in the game.

Miles has stated this off-season LSU is not going to a 2 QB system. They are going for 1 QB.. but he still wants his other guy prepared.

It's pretty simple. If Harris wants to remain the starter, he has to stay healthy, avoid getting arrested, and avoid a complete meltdown... this is the only thing that has ever led Miles to make a change.

Well if he takes the first snap, that makes him the starter. Can't make it much plainer for you than that.
