whether you're a big Miles fan or one of the idiots who just cling to the '05 Tennessee game at some point the players have to take some ownership of their own team. They should not have to have EVERYTHING SPELLED OUT FOR THEM AS TO WHAT IS RIGHT AND WHAT IS WRONG.

If they do ,then ban the stupid idiots that were out Thursday night from anything off campus this fall.

Man that 2006 team was very good.Maybe the best LSU has ever had,IMO of course.

Yes, unfortunately it takes more than just being really good to get into the BCS title game. Every year we debate who should be going to the national championship game and every year there are multiple teams that could easily play for the championship so you can't really say "LSU should have won it all in ----, therefore; CLM has no discipline".

On the other hand, Florida won two titles under Urban and how many players got arrested under him?

Yeah, that fumble definitely hurt.

But the team was so undisciplined that year, so that obviously led to JR getting hit by a defender and coughing the ball up.

This has been LSU's biggest problem on and off the field since Coach Miles has gotten to LSU. It has been the difference between 1 BCS National Championship rather than 3 maybe 4.

Urban Meyer had twice as many SEC Titles with about 5 times as many arrests compared to Miles

Just sayin...

I hope for your sake you're just an alter stirring the pot. God help you if you're actually serious with some of your statements.

But more than likely his/she is serious and if he/she is, does that really surprise you? Its not like the board is filled with a bunch of rational people.

you're kidding right, the 06' game? 75% refs/ 25% not throwing the ball from the get-go and being conservative. But don't insult anyone's intelligence that the refs didn't affect that game.

First 3 includes the 1. Then 2006, penalties silly TO's at Florida. & We were a QB short in 2008/2009. Were we not 8 points away from 1 last year? Look talk trash & i'm not blaming the players i'm saying LSU's football team's problem is Little to no discipline!

The team does not live in a communist state nor do they live in a concentration camp environment. Your issue is with an off the field incident-Discipline. This is not in the same arena with during the game discipline issues.
It's unrealistic to imagine a coach having his team behave perfectly in all circumstances. Don't bring on the field into this-p it doesn't belong. You reached for that when you realized you were losing the off the field issue.

just look up and review gundy's first few interviews at okla state as head coach. you will see the players there had been allowed to run wild. gundy even stated that players would have to start going to class.

Yep because every player on every other team is an angel. Saban would never allow his players in a bar fight. Or beat their girlfriends or anything.

This is not x box. If you expect 4 national championships in 6 seasons you are delusional.

Who on here believes we could not have wont he BCA National Championship in 2006? Who believes that in either 2008/2009 with RP or a good QB we couldn't have won? Then last year who believes we could not have won? The 3 includes the 1 we won. You all know you were pissed we didn't win those years and felt we should've won. I remember the NFL scouts saying there was no reason LSU shouldn't have won the 2006 Championship. so yes 2 of those 4 years we should've won!

The bad thing about many of our fans is that they don't seem to pay attention to what happens elsewhere and have unrealistic expectations and are out of touch of reality themselves.
I suggest everyone watch a few episodes of Blue Mountain State on Netflix.
