personal foul penalties, false starts, offsides, holding facemask penalties are a part of the discipline of a player. Ask any coach who has watched LSU in recent years they will tell you it has been a problem. LSU has been 1 of the leaders in penalties in recent years. Oh i almost forgot time management! Say i'm not a fan i'm not this and that but you all sit at the games or at home and whine about stupid penalties that kill our drives. Stupid penalties that give up 1st downs. Infact i remember during 2009 the CBS crew making it a point to say that LSU were dealing w/drive killing penalties. Discipline didn't ruin our Sugar Bowl last year did it? Making the simple tackle on 3rd & 10 in stead of going for the ball turned into a 80yd TD. Just making a tackle on the last play of the 1st half rather than trying to take the WR out didn't turn into a 85yd TD did it? All that is a part of Discipline. I'm not being negative i'm saying it needs to be changed and didn't just start Thursday!

Don't be naive. Les Miles is a good man and a nice coach. He also lost control the second he was introduced to this team. He read the list of people who had to do disciplinary running when he got here and Alley Broussard straight up told him "no." True story.
