It happened under Saban all the time. It just didn't take a life of itself because this board used to not be as popular and wasn't overrun by morons.

You cut and pasted this, but it really makes no sense without some context. I realize that it may be difficult for you, being such an outstanding poster and all, but why don't you try.

Don't be naive. Les Miles is a good man and a nice coach. He also lost control the second he was introduced to this team. He read the list of people who had to do disciplinary running when he got here and Alley Broussard straight up told him "no." True story.

Coaching is like any other profession. Some people are more strict and detail oriented and some are more laid back. All styles can work. There are times when Les Miles laid back style works and other times when attention to detail hurts LSU. The man is who he is. He is not gonna change. Les is a good coach but his teams can be sloppy and undisciplined. Up till now the undisciplined trait hasn't showed up off the field. Hopefully its an exception going forward.

These people are morons.
Let's bottom line discipline with arrests:
NS at bama 6
CLM at lsu 3

Les also had a 2 year head start.

This has been LSU's biggest problem on and off the field since Coach Miles has gotten to LSU. It has been the difference between 1 BCS National Championship rather than 3 maybe 4. I've posted about this before but people only talked trash to me, now you all can see it! Hopefully this will cause a self-examination in Coach Les Miles & he will enforce change!

It's more to do with the idiots on this board that weren't IN college when Saban was our coach. I was and I frequented the bars quite often. And football players went to the bars, got drunk, got in fights, and somehow managed to still play football.

Posters on this board seem to believe this is impossible though and revisionist history allows them to believe that every football player under Saban was tucked in tight by NICKY himself at 10 sharp.

Well said and I support you on this. You bang heads and rolling eyes guys who are out or will come out need to relax. I have a relative who is a high school coach and said that when he went to a camp at LSU, our players were uncontrollable with a lot of vulgar words and no respect for their own coaches. He said Miles had no control over one wild bunch.

Solid post.
Players issues aren't exclusive to anyone. Every coach deals with it. The key is how you react. Both NS and CLM handle the issues well.
