@Sheadixon: Whoa.. Huge news. @JHopkins247 reports that #LSU LB Clifton Garrett is transferring to a JUCO.

Damn, I guess he just couldn't get his weight under control and get the scheme down. He showed so much potential, but SEC ball is another level. You can't just be good you have to be great. I wish him the best.
Most coaches put a big quick kid with good instincts at MLB to shoot gaps and make tackles. He may know how to scrape as well but MLB is the toughest position on defense. Beckwith took the time and got the mental aspects down with his freakish ability and it worked out. Another example Melvin Jones was converted to fb because he couldn't get the concepts down, but it worked out for the best.

How many lbs do we actually have no??? That's a huge blow to the most thin position on the roster.

I've always been skeptical of highly ranked players from states that don't produce a ton of talent. How many 3 star louisiana players would be all world up there?
