I was so bummed when he didn't fall within range of the Saints, and it was worse that he was going to CLEVELAND of all places. They're getting a great athlete and a great character guy for that franchise and that frozen city.

Every rookie signs a 4 year deal, 1st pick last 2 years was 22 million. It's all on a rookie wage scale now. For 5th year any other player selected in the top 10, would receive a salary that is the average of the salaries of the top 10 players in the league at his position. Thats best I got

Barkevious Mingo, the Cleveland Browns' first-round NFL draft pick, is featured in a story on Cleveland.com, which notes the two dynasties associated with his hometown of West Monroe: high school football and "Duck Dynasty."

Cleveland actually has quite a bit of talent on defense. They just need a qb. These dudes just want to get paid. They don't care where, nor should they.

Hopefully the transition from 4-3 to 3-4 is smooth. We are relying in two guys (Mingo and Sheard) to play OLB that have only played DE in the past.

The hope is Weeden makes a big step in this offense which should suit him more.

Not really. Raiders never should have paid him that much and older players were pitching a hissy fit. Not Jmarcs fault.
