So, for all the big time coaches on this site who supposedly like facts, how did LSU's OL get such a high ranking from the real know-it-alls...lol

Alleva will definitely spin it that way--he knew that when he made his coaching hire, he'd have a built-in excuse. "What a gallant effort! We knew it would be a tough schedule! Wait til next year, though!"

He doesn't get to use this excuse since O was hired on the promise of continuity.

And if Brum. is such a dominating OL, why doesn't he go with Okeke and prove to the world how good he really is...jmho

Or just wait your turn and stop being a little baby.

We recruited better and had more depth, according to 247, than we had in a while at oline. You have to realize when you sign with 4 other linemen and there are current ones on the team, you might not play rt away. The ones that do typically become good NFL players.

Our incoming OL recruits are going to play earlier than many think...

We say that every year.

It also seems the bigger guys, olinemen/defensive tackles, need to work the hardest when they get to college. They are used to being the biggest on the field. They aren't anymore. A lot of these guys prob eat like shite and carry bad weight before they get on any campus. Takes time to transform and be able to dominate.

top of the depth chart onb the o-line. It 's one positon group[ that we have plenty of depth at. Don't know why people thin Grimes isn't doing a good job either? We have more depth than ever and recruiting on the oline has been good since he got here. Plus unbiased outsiders seem to think we have one of the best o-lines in college football., May not be as good as bama's but it isn't that far behind. I'm sure Brumfield will get on the field and be a starter in time.

dgnx, don't speak for me...I was highly skeptical of Okeke and two more as of late...but I would put money on 3 out of the 4 coming in next...although I did think that Campbell would be a starter by now, but his little screw up in Georgia with his brother was not smart move...

Well....he just gave Chris Davenport new competition for biggest busts in LSU history.

If he didnt believe in himself to COMPETE for a job and win, ...don't want him here
