In. The he’s learned, he’s changed mantra from O supporters drove me nuts. I could not believe people thought we could compete with the Sabans, Meyers, Harbaughs, Petersons, etc. with O as our head coach.

I think I posted more in the coaches changes board than anywhere ever the day that crap happened. Still pretty fricking unbelievable how a man that unqualified got such a great job in his profession.

This thread is all about the sweet, sweet satisfaction, the glorious vindication, that we have gotten to experience in the face of ignorance and incompetence.
Ponamsky even made enough threats to this site to halfassedly squash out opposing views and avatars. But the truth was always going to come eventually.

OK, all those who saw this coming from day 1, Congrats! You were willing to call a spade a spade.
A lot of us ranged from being good to apprehensive to just not knowing good or bad, or that any AD would willingly put the entire football program of LSU into a flaming free fall, for the sake of checking off the "hired a new HC" [] box. We have been schooled.
But gold star victory lap check-in "I was right/you were dumb" threads just sound a bit like insecure overkill... dividing rather than unifying a fan base that is still reeling from this fiasco of a season, and coming to grips with the toxic reality that has been foisted upon our favorite team, and thus also us.
Give it a rest, people. We need to not take cheap shots at each other. The problems at LSU are not so petty.

Now is not the time for Kumbayas, partner. Now is the time for exploration, introspection, and honesty. We need to make sure this never happens again. We don't have all the answers, but we at least know the first step: we need to make sure the voices of guys like you, Jordy Cullota, and yes meathead former players, are permanently marginalized.
