Stayed up late at night (the night before) for something tangibly regarding the hire. The worries were beginning to grow at that point.

I too was banned. I think it was post-Herman to LSU leakage during aggy game, knowing O was gonna be hired, and I went on a drunken tirade.

no regrets.

Technically I wasn't 100% right the whole time - I never thought it would all come apart so fast.

Definitely hated the hire and even made a thread melting about it at the time. I deluded myself into thinking we would be good this year based on talent/coordinators alone.

So in that sense, I was wrong.

I tried my best, but this is what we had to contend with when the slow motion car crash happened.

but there is basically nothing you can point to where O compares favorably to Jimbo.

This is true and I have NEVER said O was more qualified than Jimbo... IF we hire Jimbo and he can bring us what we all crave...[A NC] then that's great... BUT YOU among many others that think coach O would be A terrible hire are stupid................

That might have been the best of the stupid things people were posting in favor of that imbecile last November. HE BEAT ARKANSAS! CROWN HIM!

My account was suspended after O was hired. My melt was top notch.

I was 100 percent right. This is what I posted in a thread about Ponamsky and O.

"This shouldn't surprise anyone and it's not unique to Louisiana, although there is a special kinda stupid among some of the fans.

Emotional movements, hires, elections -not based on rational thought - are happening all too often and it's only getting worse with social media."

Walmart fans and housewives got Miles saved and O hired to some degree.

Are you not aware that kelvin joseph said no thanks? Besides that the recruiting class for next year wasn't all that great compared to previous ones and now it appears it will just get worse.

Give it a rest, people. We need to not take cheap shots at each other. The problems at LSU are not so petty.

I'm sorry, I'm usually never petty but I'm so freaking tired of this.

First it was keeping Miles after 2015 - several of us on here knew that that was a horrendous idea. There was also that portion of the fanbase trying to guilt trip us, and acted like we'd fail with anybody else coaching us. These fans holding up signs about keeping Miles and the like. It was too much.

Then it was coach O. Nothing other than being from here and being "cheap" got people on his side. We told them he would rah rah a good team as interim to a decent record but would fall hard as a true HC. People acted a fool talking about how it would look bad if we let him go if he got us to 10 wins. That if we let him go he'd get a HC job somewhere else. That if we didn't give him the job then he'd go to Bama, blah blah blah. They whined like babies then jumped for joy when we got him.

Then every idiot hopped on the Canada train. Seriously there were many OCs with great fricking resumes that stretched for years. He was one hit wonder at Pitt (with an already good QB and 2 previous thousand yard rushers) and lucked up to get an NFL QB in Jacoby Brissett at NC St. His numbers were average at best overall, yet nobody cared. This guy was pretty much Gary Crowton with an experienced team in 2007. also I got so tired of the "O Canada" shite as well. Dude hasn't coached up a QB either. We should have gone full blown spread.

It's my time to gloat because the morons constantly got what they wanted, and it did as I expected, turned to shite.

Remember waking up to notifications "According to mulitple sources, Ed Orgeron to be named Head Coach at LSU", knew we were in for a rough few years.

Never predicted it would be this rough.
