Chavis leaving LSU has benefitted LSU tremendously. LSU has improved at the DC position and recruiting has benefitted as well. In addition, a malcontent like Chief is now a problem for A&M.

If Chavis was even close to being the God he thinks heis then LSU would have felt his departure particularly in recruiting and A&M would have kids in Louisiana following Chavis to College Station. Neither has occurred.

I am very happy with the staff Miles has assembled and look forward to the upcoming season.
It has a really good feel to it.

the similarities between Fulmer and Miles are spot on

No they aren't. Fulmer won a title and never played for another. Miles won a title and played for another 4 yrs later. Fulmer won 58% of his games in his last 4 yrs. Miles has won 73% of his games in the last 4 yrs. Fulmer had losing seasons in 2 of his last 4 yrs. Miles has never, in 11 yrs., come close to a losing season. Miles has had 3 times the top 20 teams than Fulmer had in his last 4 yrs.

You do know that LSU was winning 80% of their games, had played for 2 SEC titles, and won a NC before Chavis ever appeared on the staff, right? I am not saying he wasn't a big upgrade in 09 over what we had in 08, but Miles had done well here before he showed up.

I hope there are no "similarities" between what Tenn. experienced after Fulmer and what LSU experiences after Miles.

Alleva needs no help in looking like an idiot. He does a fantastic job all by himself.

Another good team would have picked Les up, and we would have gotten another great coach.

Do you know how rare it is to get 3 successful coaches in a row at cfb program? Its almost unheard of.
Pardon me for not having faith in Alleva to hire a great coach.

No not really, having lived in TN during that period, the similarities between Fulmer and Miles are spot on.

bullshite. Fulmer's last few years he was barely above .500.
2 of Fulmer's last 4 years were below .500 seasons.
His last season at Tenn was below .500 and it had been a decade since he won the SEC.
I just dont understand why posters ,such as yourself, dont take the extra 90 seconds to look this shite up so you dont post ignorant shite. When you say Fulmer's and Miles' tenures are similar it shows 1 of 2 things. It makes you seem uninformed or it makes you seem like you have an agenda.

Mr. Mustache is a douche. He was classless in the way he left. I don't care what he has to say.

JA did NOT release this information.

Where do you get your info? Do you work for JA? Joe was doing what many political "snake" do.....leak out information in an effort to "get everyone used to it" before it actually happens. Joe is a snake and must go. BTW....the media source that broke the story said "it came from the LSU athletic administration."
Just remember...."And lets not forget, Les has won more games in the last five years than Saban won in his five years."

Jimbo Fisher was NEVER leaving Florida State for LSU! Getting mad at someone in the LSU camp for seeing if the guy had any interest in making the jump is stupid. Get mad at Jimbo or whoever it is that cant keep his mouth shut.

I never liked JA from the Duke shite, but he did is not the bad guy in this. LSU has someone leaking shite.

Big wigs at ESPN have been kissing Les' arse for years. He and his camp knew exactly what they were doing releasing that information to the media, and they were right. It saved his job. I wish he put as much into the passing game as he does saving his own arse and making money.

Holy shite.

Can you provide a link to any of this or can i file it under, "shite you heard another dumbass say"?

How was Alleva "Unaware of the alterations to Chavis' contract"? As the Director of Athletics that's called gross negligence and is a fire-able offence if it leads to a lawsuit against the entity.
