This is where you're argument is invalid. You say that he doesn't have an opinion and also refuses to voice that opinion, which doesn't exist.

You're acting like he's paid to know everything about the outcome of LSU sports based on what he knows about the players. You're acting like he can just force his brain to think that the basketball team is going to be great and voice it as an opinion. That's not how opinions work. Why is it so bad that he, along with everyone else including you, doesn't know how the basketball team is going to look?

Was not a fan of the Jones hire. I am impressed with his recruiting ability, but until he stops getting out coached in game and starts making in game adjustments I will be skeptical.

With that said... Geaux Tigers.

I'm with you all the way here Scottie. He took a good step in the hire of Musselman but we still don't know how that coaching dynamic will work.

I like Johnny...everybody likes Johnny. It's why he got hired. I give him a pass for last year. But the passes will run out in the next year or two. Time to step it up.

From what I've seen of him, he'll earn it.

He's part of the local sports media who are paid to give opinions on LSU, that includes LSU basketball. I wasn't really angry at Charles at first, but it was appropriate to point out that he did make a mistake. But the more that you defended the phillsbury dough boy, the more upset I became. Do you often wipe the dough boy's behind too?

A member of the local sports media who can't bring himself to make a prediction on LSU basketball's wins and losses. That's more insulting to the program than if he had.

LSU will be in the NCAA basketball tournament this year. Feel it's important that everyone should know.

Some dudes want to give it up to the fat dough boy. Why, I'm starting to enjoy this. Some fans believe LSU will be better at basketball this year than they are at football. What do you say Charles? I forgot, the sports media doughboy has no opinion.

Tigers will rock the P Mach this year, just like in the old days.

LSU got out rebounded last year too many times too.

This doesn't equate to the fact that they were 10th in the NCAA in rebounds last year...

Unless you listened to a different broadcast than I did, which I'll admit is possible, I think you are totally misunderstanding what he was saying.

What I heard was it was difficult to form an opinion about this team because the guard play is from newcomers, you don't know what to expect from Quarterman, Gray, Hornsby, Robinson and Bridgewater until you see them play.

The point he was making that I heard was let's see them play, how they play together and if anyone steps up to help Mickey and Martin.
He wasn't saying he covers them and failed to offer an opinion. He was saying "show me" so he can offer an informed opinion.

SEC Conf as a whole was down, what happened when they played stronger teams OOC? LSU has to rebound better against more quality teams if it wants to make a run.

I stated he was either uninterested or uninformed. Or perhaps just lazy.

I heard the segment.

He went on to name every player on the current roster and their experience and strengths. Talked about what their strengths might be on paper but basically said that there are so many unknowns that he's not sure what the product on the court was going to look like.

If he seemed uninterested I'm sure it's because the fans want flip out in the middle of football season when they discuss anything else so they probably limit their coverage until later in the year.

Doughboy had no problem offering an opinion on wins and losses for Les Miles and LSU football, with basically the same unknowns. Willing to bet Jones and Miles hate the "LSU doughboy". You call this fair media coverage , do ya?

Why would Miles hate him, in this scenario? For not giving Jones fair media coverage?
