Thank God Andre Debose will not be there for UF on Saturday. He used to bust returns when the coverage was good.

It scares me. UF has returned a number of punts for TDs this year. Need to punt it far and out of bounds.

Hopefully we are scoring TDs and not worried about punts.

We got the penalty situation that had been plagueing us all season fixed a well as the lack of passing game situation. Now attention can turn to fixing the special teams situation. I think we get it fixed just like we got the other issues under control.

It's been a weakness, but I'd rather be fixing the kickoffs than missing field goals. 7/7 and 24/24XP. Only 7 schools have done that or better.

It's not even the big plays given up by SP, the field position battle is being lost in a big way. The kick coverage is terrible, the kick offs are inconsistent, and the punter is one of the worst LSU has had.
You think you beat Bama giving them a huge starting field position advantage? Saban will play that game all day.

South Carolina showed the 5 man front can somewhat slow down Fournette. What did them in was their offenses inability to stay on the field. Games are going to be tight from here on. Special teams will play a role in all of them.

The kickoff problems are crazy. We signed a backup kicker for his big leg to be a kickoff specialist.

If he can't cut it, he needs to be cut.

Debose is with the Raiders but has hamstring problems and is on IR. Dude can't catch a break with injuries.

Obviously a huge thorn in our side at this point in the season...You would hope that this type of thing would be ironed out by now. I would imagine that the coaching staff buckles down on the issue as much as possible this week and we see a difference this weekend. Someone mentioned after the game this weekend, and after Les's post game comments, that BDP may be slightly shifted from his SP team duties (hopefully). Anyways, I would expect to see some real improvements this coming weekend against the gaytors.

Special teams nearly blew it vs. Florida last year with two long punt returns.
