This....Paris was/is suppose to be a good un...it may be his time to shine now. Maybe Mills moves back to Corner with Adams and Thomas at Safety?

Look at the d-backfield though, it is pretty salty looking:

White, Mills, Adams, Thomas, Jefferson, Paris, Tolliver, Voorhies, and I'm sure I'm leaving a couple out. Will be interested to see where Voorhies (sp?) fits in at. The kid was a stud in Mississippi highschool ball.

Good luck to them. No longer Tigers. We'll be fine, that is for sure, and I hope they will be as well.

interesting, I was wondering if maybe Melvin might come back after a yr away, a la Lorenzo Philips (who at last check was only mentioned as possibly returning, I know that he may end up elsewhere). figured RR might try a lower level school and then try for the NFL.

no FB on roster and lost a CB with great upside.

I think that Williams kid could easily fit into the FB role.

Also, enter Tolliver + guys like Ed Paris already on the team.

Would be nice, but I can see RR throwing himself into the draft next Spring, even with a year off....hoping he turns it around, but talking doesn't always lead to doing....he just doesn't appear to like school, at all.

Some classes have over 100 students in them. So now we have to hold these kids hands? LSU as a University does not care about its students. I doubt a few teachers care enough to be emailing people that someone didn't go to class.

Les Needs a full back to play offensive football. Our offense will struggle for his desire to insert a player that does not fit the position.

the professor's job is not to cater to the football team and treat them like elementary school children. The players know they have a responsibility to attend class. If the football team wants to monitor them like children, they can have a staff member do that. Athletes are given plenty of extra resources the general student body is not, and these resources should, at minimum, give them the necessary help to remain eligible. If they can't manage to pass or even be responsible enough to show up to class, I have zero sympathy for them, and their professors are the last people I would blame. It's not as if the guys not making grades are taking difficult courses to begin with either.
