Can't help but go back to 1/9/2012 on this upcoming game.

As painful as that game was to watch, our WR's were open deep all game long-- JJ simply could not make the read and pull the trigger, and it killed us. Saban went all out to stop the middle and option game, daring us to throw.
I certainly won't compare our defense to the 2011 squad, but it is very good, and Bama's offense doesn't compare to their 2011 squad either. I believe we will hold serve on that side of the ball.
This year, if Saban sells out to stop the middle and perimeter, BH can and will make him pay with the deep throw. If he plays a safety back, we hit them on the perimeter, wear out their big DL and LB's side-to-side, then go up the middle. I think we score at least 30 on Bama.
ST's, tho... Can't spot Bama 7 early on at Bryant-Denny. Here's hoping that wild card doesn't come into play.

I hate being there when they get a big play. A regular ole touchdown is ok, but a kick/punt return, pick 6, etc and it's my nightmare. Like hell on earth.

Pressure up the middle from start to finish which gave him zero time to set his feet and throw the deep ball. JJ was terrible but the O-line was even worse. No QB would've done shite in that game. But seriously why is this even mentioned anyway?

This offense is so much better than 2011. We aren't going to run speed options from the ace formation all night like 1/9. We have a great offense, good defense, and we will be just fine in this game.
