You do realize the motion has a lot more to do with helping your players than confusing theirs, right?

The motion works when the D has to account for it. When LSU motions, teams know they are still going to attempt Power football, so they don't bite on the motions.

When you are primarily a running team, with not a whole lot of diversity in the running game, wasn't this bound to happen at some point?

I think they know what they want to do but it appears that that don't have ability and or the players don't have the ability to adjust to in game changes.

Unless it's in relation to blocking schemes AND that's causing the inferior protection.... don't matter.

I never said it was to confuse the other team, but it sure seems to be working against us. Like others have said, something seems missing from the "formula" for this.

You think coordinators don't communicate with their head coach?

Cause that high school shite don't work against superior athletes that we face in the SEC
I counted Bama's pre-snap motions vs. Vandy on the first 10 plays. 6, 1 with double motion.

Why y'all expect man in motion = TD every time or it is a fail is beyond me.

It is not a gimmick. It's basic modern day football. Hell, motions were part and parcel with many option systems when the forward pass was new.

So what if Canada wants to deny the D the ability to overload one side by moving a OT and TE to the other side by running 18' feet at a slow job. The apocalypse is not upon us. If they moved people around and reacted like y'all seem to expect then, many times, they are defeating what Canada is doing. Not to mention getting the eyes moving. All y'all tapped into their thought process and keys? How do y'all know it's not changing those. Oh, because it wasn't a 79 yard TD I guess.

Sweet answer to my question.

Canada feels the need to get approval with daddy O to slow things down?

I thought that pre-snap motion was the key to his whole offense?

The only players who appear confused by all the motion are wearing Purple & Gold.
