Cause Les will tell him to hand the ball off 50 times a game.

Because handing off won't get you first round money.

Probably because we only throw the ball ~15 times per game.

With Clancy Ed and Braxton this team would instantly be a contender for a NC. Miles will let him throw the ball, look at Mett. Miles just has to be absolutely sure of a qb before he unleashes him.

Yes, at least we would have a better than 48% of completing the 3rd and 7 pass attempt we try every three plays.

Our luck he'd get hurt halfway through the season and AJ would be trotted out there

because, to actually play, they'd have to arrange an "unfortunate accident" involving Jennings.

Yea because Mettenberger didnt throw it and we didnt have two receviers with over 1,000 yards. It was only two years ago guys! Stop being such a prisoner of the moment.

You mean imagine this team with a guy that might never be able to throw the ball again due to his shoulder issues and might move to RB?

That guy?

Most of Mett's yards came on 3rd and longs.

Mettenberger

are not the same types of quarterbacks. I thought that was obvious.

offense is going to open up a lot more next season anyway, 18-25 passes a game, so he wouldn't make any difference. AJ and Harris will look much better next season with an improved offense philosophy.

Leslie would turn Braxton into our 4th string WR.

Not sure if you're being serious. I really hope that this is true, but I don't see any reason why people would believe this. Sure, we got better passing with Mett, but when is the last time that LSU ever really "opened up" on offense?
