Okay, but it was 99% on OL.

nope

half of those pressures/sacks were on Etling for holding the ball too long

LF's lack of success was because he tried to bounce too much and was pressing when he should have just been hitting the hole for 3-4 yards

the Oline definitely deserves criticism, but not all of it like I've seen on tRant this morning

the Oline is just the low hanging fruit

I said the same thing. But when he changed for jefferson it was to implement the option read which worked

No. Has he played better games? Absolutely. But Blaine Gabbert has played better games than Tom Brady before. Doesnt mean he was ever better

At this point in the season, EVERY position should be re-evaluated.

What the hell do you have to lose, a lousy bowl game?

This coaching staff or the next needs to see exactly who they have.

But our receivers were sooooo open all the time.

Etling is your long hanging fruit.

open enough that a more talented QB could have got them the ball

I'm not putting the entire game on Etling, but he deserves just as much fault at the Oline

LF deserves criticism too

Couldn't agree with you more that next year it should be a TRUE wide-open competition for QB.

Etling has proved to be an adequate QB but I truly don't think he is the QB to beat Bama and I thought that prior to Saturday. But he is one tough SOB, because he got pounded Saturday.

The reality is until our 0-line becomes more physical whoever you have behind center is going to have a difficult time unless he is really fast.

No.

Etling is much better than Harris. It isn't even close. We have three games remaining that we can win.

Chark is the only WR that can get open constantly

Think DeSean had 1 target

Etlings stats against the likes of buttfricking afwul Mizzou, Auburn, Buttfricking awful ole miss, buttfricking awful Southern Miss, and Bama

59% 7.1 y/a 7tds 4ints 127 Rating

Harris stats against a full sec season, plus auburn and a great Miss State his freshman year, plus Wisky from this year

54% 7.8 y/a 20tds 10ints 134 Rating

so you are saying that at times, Etling has indeed been better then Harris?

In your hypothetical, Im not sure Harris has the body of work to compare to Tom Brady.

He has fundamental flaws both in his mechanics & his mental development. His 20:10 INT:TD ratio is fine. His completion % tells the story, and always has. Bad footwork, inaccurate throws, inability to read coverages.

etling has already reached his max potential

i'd like to see BH under a different regime, to be honest...dunno, it just feels like any qb at LSU the last few years has been hamstrung in his development with these guys trying to coach them up. basically, cam sucks

You still don't know what the hell you are talking about. Keep your day job... you're no coach.

I think Harris is done at LSU. I know this is a topic for a different thread, but just have that feeling.

There needs to be an open battle at every OLine position Don't care who the qb is until that is fixed

SPOT ON! You can't run the ball, and you certainly can't throw the ball if the OL is getting blown away at the point of attack.

DE missed 2-3 passes Sat night, no doubt, but he was constantly under pressure and was likely expecting pressure on those misses, and did not set his feet to make good throws. I also think he was worried about making that big mistake, a turnover leading to Bama points. OFF Coord/OL did nothing to allow LF or DE to get into any type of rhythm.

I've seen enough of Harris to know that he isn't an SEC QB . If anything I'd rather see what McMillan or Scott has to offer
