Also didn't make post-season back-to-back years. I think you just backhanded a great compliment to Cpm. Or did he win With Saban's recruits?

This team isn't close. Nor will they be unless they kill it on the recruiting trail. LSU is currently made up of a bunch of pretty good college baseball players. No studs. Astounding to me when the best pitcher in the state and maybe the best hitter in the nation are 30 min down the road at SELU

He's been a key piece for us before this season. I assume they keep throwing him out there thinking he'll work it out, but after tonight I have to think he'll be relegated to middle innings and games that aren't tight.

He gave us that run.

We couldn't earn any.

Ever since his championship year, LSU has not been stellar in post season play.

I get what you're saying, but doesn't this just read goofy?

"Ever since the time he won an NCAA Championship, he's sucked at winning championships."

In 2009, he certainly won with some of Smoke's recruits.

He couldn't get it together for 4 weeks. Not sure why he was still getting a look last week much less this week.

Pitching, it's all about the pitching. We are young which I believe 3/4 the way through the season we will know.

Fraley has the tools but hasn't added the power he should have. Duplantis is quick but he's gonna be a .315 hitter with no pop in college, which isn't stud material. Deichmann has done nothing. If anything, he's a liability. Lange is a stud, but I'm talking position players.
