Exactly. And more experience overall. Think it's a no brainer.

Because we aren't looking for the wheels to totally fall off.

Les is gone folks, find something else to bitch about than offensive production.

Likely a few reasons - he's been an OC before and seniority being the two major ones.

I do think Craig will be heavily involved, etc. and I don't think it will be a one man show in terms of play-calling, etc.

+1; Should have been OC all along. Watch the play calling and see if it gets any better:
1. OC at AtM
2. OC at Auburn
3. QB at LSU in 70's - and a good one!
4. Excellent football IQ
Enough said. Make it happen "E"!

SE has a ton of coordinator experience. Craig has zero experience.

D. Craig needs to coach his wide receivers. He can start with a clock and an out of bounds marker.

Ensminger has experience at calling plays. Craig was the better choice for taking over recruiting coordinator role.

He was, after Tony Franklin was fired.

Emsminger was considered the "thinking man's quarterback" back in his playing days from 1976-79. He led huge comebacks in two games vs. Ole Miss and is respected for his agile mind.

I asked this last night. I should've done the tiny bit of research.

Coach O is auditioning for a job. He reshuffled the staff and put coaches in the best spot he saw fit.

Ensminger has double the coaching experience and has OC experience. Whether he gets it or not, O is putting his best foot forward, and giving this team the best chance to succeed. This is not his 1st interim HC rodeo either.

He is the best choice

Is some1 really wringing their hands on the choice of a few interim positions

And Ensminger is prob a dead man walking. Thre is a chance Craig is kept by the new HC.

No position group has underperformed like WR though, so not real sure why anyone would want him w more responsibility

It boggles my mind how uniformed posters are sometimes.
