The fact of the matter is that Trent Johnson is not getting the job done. Time to pack his bags and ship him out of town. That is what we would do to Les Miles if his teams were ineffective and losing.

A Bruce Pearl type is the answer, but not him. I am not sure what is going on with TJ right now, but I do know he knows he is in trouble. He has been all over the juco tourneys the last couple of weeks. From day one I have said he is not the right guy for this job and continue to believe that. LSU will need to get an LSU guy who knows how to recruit SEC type players and what it takes to get them here. Brady won the SEC on probation in his third year, so whatever time table it takes to "BUILD A PROGRAM" is BS. It takes someone who knows how to recruit the right kids for this program. Watch what Arkansas, Auburn, Bama do next year all with new coaches. In 3 1/2 years he brought in ONE legit kid, Turner. I wish TJ's pal at Utah would not have laughed at him and taken him off our hands. He gets one more token year here because as of today there is not a whole lot realistically to think we will be much better.

Neither one is a proven cheat and liar and the other is proven to lack ability to judge and recruit talent.

If I had to pick one or the other I would begrudgingly take Pearl as I would rather him than anyone who has compiled a 5-29 mark in the weakened SEC West the last two years

TJ is here at least 1 more season ... I don't like it either, but that's not going to change. Do I expect a quick turnaround next year? No. But if the team improves to a .500 record, TJ will remain past 2012.

Pass on Pearl ... he's a clown. Yes, he'll generate interest, but he can't be trusted to run a clean program.

Okay in case it was the punctuation that confused you I will do it properly for you!

Neither. One is a cheat and a liar!

If not dumbass why do you think he got in trouble? For cheating then lying about it!

Why can't the powers that be see that delaying Johnson's firing will only setback the program even further, especially in the recruiting war? The time is now, no matter who the hire may be. Does anybody on this post really believe Johnson is doing a good job? Not great, but good job? Please comment and explain your reasoning.

Neither one! Go ahead, hire a legitimate coach that will build a solid program, and fill the PMAC. We will then have the overall top 3, (Football Baseball Basketball) in the SEC!

Do you not realize that firing him now will also set back the program a few years? First, JOB could get out of his LOI at LSU and the chances we'd land Gathers or any of the really good La. class of 2012 would drop substantially (not saying we couldn't land Gathers and Co., but I wouldn't like our chances).
