Very nice post Badger...
I am not sure that they understand the size and speed that our LSU defense has. We can cover your Wr's over the top man to man with some ease.
Our Linebackers have to ready to play against Gordon, he is special for sure, but we see special backs all the time..

When will the SEC's little brother conferences learn We hear this every year and it's by FAR better teams than Wiskyconsin
The ONLY way it will be even CLOSE is if we do something to harm ourselves on the field. If we play LSU football then this thing will be over soon after the second half starts.
LSU 28
Wisconsin 10

My first thought when Wisky is brought up in football, they have too many white guys to be a serious threat to LSU football, right?
Then, I just think back a few months to hoops, and how close they came to winning that.
These crackers are well organized and can play.

He reminds me a lot of Tim Boeckman...his ability to handle a pass rush is less than ideal.

How many of the defenses in your "passing" video were top 50 vs the pass?
Maybe 3?

My big question for Wisc is about depth. Yes, LSU is young but they are talented enough to play 22 on defense with little to no difference in performance. LSU will go with the ones on the OL most of the game but has a quality set of twos if needed. LSU has always in this Miles era ran RB by committee and when opponents are wearing down in the second half LSU will have fresh legs in the game.
This has been LSU's mark for the last several years so I believe that the first half will be even but the second half will go to the Tigers. I believe that Wisc can match us in strength but not in team speed or endurance simply because I think we play more players. JMHO
The reason I bring this up is the disparity in recruiting rankings for the last four years.
LSU Class ranking for 24/7 and Rivals
2011 8 6
2012 14 18
2013 6 6
2014 2 2
Wisc Class rankings for same
2011 39 40
2012 65 57
2013 38 57
2014 33 33
If Wisc can close this gap in talent then you have some of the best coaches in the country. It is not like LSU is sitting on these players either as they have been able to churn these guys out into the NFL at an amazing rate. For LSU much of the 2011 class is gone and a little of the 2012 class so that leaves us with some young but highly talented folks to play.

I appreciate your post and wish UW nothing but the best, but realize that your up against it when you post on the rant.
The best case scenario for Whisky is that they can run the ball up the middle and a rushing slugfest ensues. Of course even in that scenario I have LSU winning 24-21.

Wisky looks pretty good against the mediocre competition featured in these highlight reels, but the real question is will they complete these play action passes against DBU and will they run through the tackles of the LSU front 7. We will see.
I lived in Madison for 5 years, including the all Ron Dane years. I pull for the Badgers, except when they play my Tigers. They have a great football program and they are one of the best Universities in America. However, they will see a brand of athletes they've never seen when they see the LSU Tigers in Houston. Sorry Badgers. Lets have a few cheese curds, a bratwurst, and a beer after the game!

This is especially true along the defensive line. We are disturbingly thin at NG and that could really haunt us in this game. My only solace is that it is the first game of the season so at least the guys we do have should be fresh and ready to battle. At the other positions I don't think it will be an issue at all. Our D rotates a ton of guys to keep them fresh.
And don't let the recruiting rankings fool you. They probably mean less to Wisconsin than any program in the nation given our system. We have more talent on this team then we have had in a long time (except maybe 2011 because of the Wilson factor), and the team has preformed just fine with much less in the past, even when thoroughly outmatched on paper.
