Don't start this crap again.
It's Etlings year unless he gets hurt or collapses.
Don't screw up another football season and coaching staff with this qb drama

Appreciate the information, but he will definitely be red shirted. There's no way he's going to get any snaps this year. The pecking order;
Etling
McMillan
LSJR
Brennan
Narcisse
Fake News!!!

Didn't we hear the same from Lindsey Scott last year? Like someone else said in another thread, the backup qb always seems to be the best qb on the team . I have no doubt Brennan will be good, but he'll have to wait a year

Weird, because "my sources" tell me Lowell Narcisse is lightyears ahead of Brennan physically and mentally. Guess everyone has their own wrong sources.

Brandon harris was thrown to the wolves as well. That did not help his mental play at all. I think the auburn game and the wisky game ruined the kid. I hope etling is servicable

quote:No that wasn't. Craig might have let it slip, but that was all O. Why? Lane Kiffin bullshite. If you recall we all thought Kiffin was going to be th OC. O was going to use that as a recruiting tool because of the connection to the West Coast and Hawaii that he and Kiffin have to establish that pipeline. You get 1 5* kid from there you can open the floodgates.
That was Dameyune Craig. Yall saw how long he lasted?
The most important part is that kid is great. So that wouldn't have been a big deal losing Brennan and getting him. In fact, you wouldn't have held LN either.

I also heard that Narcisse looks damn good. Gonna be a tough qb battle next year fellas.

I won't be surprised if he gets some playing time as the season progresses. That being said, I hope we don't have to start him.

ahhh yes the ol' LSU tradition of the incoming, unseen, unproven freshman QB is better than the current starter and is the answer to our problems continues...

Come on dude, they haven't even had an official full scrimmage yet. If this was posted later 2nite or tomorrow then maybe I would believe this. Any QB can look great in controlled drills.

Just think, O almost screwed that up by offering the Hawaiian qb knowing he was a Bama lock.

... Most popular guy on the team.

That's definately not the pecking order in terms of skillset
Posted on 8/5/17 at 8:45 am to TrueTigerTale
If he's starting in meaningful games it means the season is done and were getting him reps.
