Yep, apart from the OP leaving our highest avg hitter so far in Laird.

Yeah and I am shocked that this page went almost three pages before anyone mentioned the 1997 lineup. That was an amazing 3-4-5

The 2009 lineup was disgusting. No wonder that team won the national title...

And Barbier was the 2 hole hitter. Probably the best 2-5 hitters for LSU that I can recall.

Everyone should know Dean, Gibbs, and Clark went back to back to back in that order in UC-I game 3.

I know Schiambre is a hometown favorite but I figured he was slightly overrated because he hasn't even played an entire season yet without injury. Obviously he had a bad break last year. It's early but Laird looks the part so far as the future best player in the outfield. He has done more in his career than Schiambre has so far.

I agree that 2008 and 2009 were great lineups in general but the 2008 team didn't do what the 96 and 97 teams did. So let's look at lineups together.

1996 - Omaha

Jason Williams
Koerner
Nathan Dunn
Eddy Furniss
Chad Cooley
Brad Wilson
Justin Bowles
Tim Lanier
Warren Morris

1997 - Omaha

Danny Higgins
Blair Barbier
Brandon Larson
Eddy Furniss
Mike Koerner
Trey McClure
Tom Bernhardt
Wes Davis
Clint Earnhart

2008 - Omaha

Hollander
Mitchell
Dean
Gibbs
Clark
LeMahieu
Landry
Helenihi
Schimpf

2009 - Omaha

LeMahieu
Schimpf
Dean
Gibbs
Mahtook
Mitchell
Ochinko
Helenihi
Nola

When I put all four of them together, the 1997 lineup is easily the sickiest I have ever seen.
