I can see Milam moving over to SS and Braswell to the bench. Y’all have to admit, Braswell is not the stud we thought he was going to be. He hasn’t delivered at the plate and his arm strength and accuracy isn’t that great! We know that Pearson is a gamer. He has his ups and down but always delivers when it counts. He could be the 2B man with Bing. Kling and Brown in the OF.

Pearson loses his spot at some point every year and always ends up being the guy and having big ABs by the end of it all.

As a freshman at ASU he hit .314 with 6 homers and 42 RBIs Better than braswell stats at South Carolina

SEC is the best conference in college baseball by a large margin.

Braswell to the bench w/ nepolt
Unless his bat wakes up.
He is a good fielder but his bat lacks.
Brown to right Pearson to 2nd Milam to ss

Fall Numbers count for 2 things: 1) JACK 2) S*&^

Go watch a game, watch this guys at the plate, and then come back and tell me how good of a hitter he is. Real Games Count and in Real Games this year and the last two this Kid CANT HIT!

The way he has been swinging the bat, I certainly don't view Kling as a lock. He is elite defensively, but Bingham, Brown and Pearson look better at the plate. Not sure of the capabilities of Milam at SS, Braswell looks good defensively, but not good at all batting.

Like always, it will probably be the 9 best hitters that play.

Not exactly, just due to the fact that they're limited by the positions they're capable of playing. But I agree with the sentiment that Jay is going to try to get the best 9 bats in the lineup as possible. Not directed at you, but this thread is a train wreck of suck. WAY too many knee-jerk reaction conclusions after just 4 games both positively and negatively. Too many assumptions on who is safe, too. There are guys who have earned long leashes for sure, but honestly, I think Tommy White is the only guy who is a 100% lock to be in the lineup every day. Bingham is probably close, too. Everybody else is subject to their offensive performance. Their positions, their backups, and their past performances will determine how long that leash is and will give some longer ones than others.

But make no mistake, the leashes won't be limitless. There will be no .150 hitters in the every day lineup in April. We don't have the top end guys to sustain a black hole, auto out every time through like we might have been able to last year. But we do have a ton of depth to be able to fit guys in who are actually producing. It's gonna be fun to watch and see who takes hold of those spots. I just hope we don't have too many assholes like a few in this thread who are way too eager to shite on a kid after one bad weekend. Or just one bad game. Hope in one hand and piss in the other, though, I guess. The Rant will The Rant.

need to see more of Milam’s arm, but what I see after 1 weekend, more than likely he takes SS at some point if the arm is there.

I’ve seen enough. Arm is there enough.
