The first page has been updated with some current information, new links, and links to all the Scrimmage Recaps. The Gifs from the first scrimmage have downloadable Video Links under them and they have had over 30,000 downloads in a week.

There is a new one with Adams with an interception, can you please post that gif and link to video please?

Like I said earlier in this thread, better for him to throw them now then later on, on the road in Oxford & Tuscaloosa. This is what the practices are for. These are learning moments in reading coverages & situational adjustments.

Yeah I understand that, but I want people to play it straight. Would have already been threads up about Jennings throwing the pic, Qui Pro Quo doing an entire lecture on it, and people chomping at the bit saying he'll never get better. So far to the point of your post that I have read in this thread, none of that has happened.

A bunch of people right now are understanding that it was practice, etc, but they were shitting on Jennings last spring, before the spring game and before he even got a year of experience.

Both need to improve, and both need understanding. All the agenda driven nonsense needs to stop. Everybody should hope both get better and at least one is good enough to take us to the top.

Harris' problem wasn't the throw. It was everything that happened before the throw. He turned to slow toward the intended receiver and still had a late release. The decision was sound. Now this is something similar to what Cam Cameron has already criticized him about, although at the time it was for taking an extra step before his release. Essentially the same issue on such a quick route. The ball has got to come out quicker.
Neither one of Les's hand picked QB's that can "Run Fast" have the "Quick Information Processing Skills" necessary to bring LSU an SEC West title.

"Improvement" by either QB is relative. "Improvement" from "Very Bad" to just "Bad" is not really improvement. Going from last in the SEC in Passing to 11th in the SEC in Passing would certainly be thrilling for the all the internet message board "Sand Headers", but certainly not for the adult season ticket holders, fans and alums that sit in Tiger Stadium on Saturdays.

We haven't seen anything at Spring practice to make us believe that there will be much improvement in the passing game once we get into the SEC schedule. Will be more of the SOS. Wasted WR talent. QB's that can't consistently get them the ball at crunch time. The fact that BH hasn't just taken over is troublesome and scary.

LF will have to be at Walker/Jackson level or this team is looking at another 8-4 regular season squarely in the face...............

shut up with the fricking doom and gloom.

harris was a freaking true freshman. again, i don't understand how people can give up on him this early and not expect greatness.

I'm starting to figure out you take the morning shift on the sunshine pump and BeeFense the evening shift-do you two share a computer?

Jennings appeared to have the edge in Saturday's scrimmage, passing for 200 yards and two touchdowns.

I don't care which guy Cam/Miles decides to go with, but "Jennings appeared to have the edge" doesn't seem like much to me considering that Jennings has more time in the program, more time in practice, and almost a full season of starts under his belt as opposed to Harris.

I don't think 1 or 2 ints throw in a practice scrimmage against our own D is a big deal no matter who threw them. They can be telling if we knew all the facts bout how they came bout...play call, R's route, and such...but we don't.

I am not normally one to make a big deal out of a Spring scrimmage or practice game with coaches on the field directing player and refs, but I think this one coming up might well set the stage for what comes in Aug. for our 2 QBs.

Harris will eventually win the job and play at the high level you'd expect from a 5 star prospect. Jennings will continue to play at a level consistent with small college QBs, just where he should. That's why AJ got very few offers from major colleges.

Miles will play who he thinks will give LSU the best chance to win. He's not going to risk a multi-million dollar per year job or the jobs of his assistants just to piss off some fricking stupid message board jockey.

This thread isn't for fans like you that would actually give up their season tickets because their favorite quarterback wasn't starting every game as a true freshman. Thanks.

It's a mystery to me why anyone would think a coach as successful as Miles who has coaches under him who are fairly successful themselves would ever have the want to start anyone other than who gives "LSU the best chance to win."

To me, it defies not only all real world logic, but all college/SEC football common sense.

The LSU offense is anemic for the most part and why the grunting and groaning.

Not really sure I'd call the 2011 offense "good".

The running ground attack was strong and the passing game was efficient. Including a few DST scores, they were near 40 ppg on the season.... I'd call that good.

Trend:
2008 - redshirt freshman
2009 - true sophomore
2010 - Jefferson and/or Crowton sucked
2014 - true sophomore

My favorite QB is one that can actually make our offense something other than offensive. If I wanted to see BH last season, it's because it's difficult to believe he would have been worse than Jennings, and he at least appears to have more physical upside.

And don't you worry about me and my season tickets-I offered them to you and you decided you could see the sunshine better from your recliner. Besides, you need to save your energy for making excuses for those sub-100 yard passing days.
