Yeah Hideo, I agree with ya. I can understand when someone is young like Lee makes bad reads and makes mistakes, but I don't ever see him go through his progressions. He always just throws to the primary WR and stares him down while doing it.

I really understand rebuilding a program for a year or 2, but if Lee can't look avg. against Tulane, it's gonna be a long rest of the season.

I just don't think he's our future..........maybe I'm just not as optimistic on some on this board, but I just go by what I see.

I kinda think he stare's down his receiver but really I don't think he has time to check off
because the D line will have already knocked his
arse off.

His inability to read the defense well isn't helping his pocket presence. He'll continue to stare down his receiver until he understands whats in front of him. Thats why i'm curious to how he'll play this saturday because bama will send people from the stands on delayed blitzes as well. He better be prepared to read his hot routes and his checks and be prepared to be lit up.

i have confidence in his talent but not so much his pocket presence.

ETA: his best pass was the pass to mitchell against auburn because he sat there and took the hit, but in taking the hit he actually looked at the entire field.

No matter how bad your team plays, you don't boo them. It serves no purpose. It isn't going to make them play better. It's incredibly stupid. We sucked tonight, but if you're a fan you still don't boo. They already know the deal.

Just saw Lee's pick on the news. I couldnt tell at the game exactly what happened, but knew he got his clock cleaned. On the replay it looked to me like Lee got blind sided mid throw. I dont see how you can fault the kid for this.
At the game all I could think of is wow Lee is down and we dont have a QB with more than 12 plays of experience!!!!!
Then he gets bood for getting blind sided. Poor blocking but not a poor throw on his part.

Typical classless, Johnny Come Lately LSU "fans" booing. I saw plenty of 'em tonight.

Thanks RAZ! Maybe your post needs to be stickeed.
JL deserves better tx. I was embarrassed.

Raz's post needs to be stickied, if for no other reason, because of his avatar and sig pic...

otherwise, geaux99 is keeping count of all the haters (Nomo...as if your walk-off-giving-up-arse needs to be talking about on-field performances). When Lee is crushing UF and UGA in the upcoming years, I'll remind all the hateful posters of the stupid shite posted on this board from 9/08 to 11/08 about Lee. It's like haters from 2002 (Mauck) and 2004 (Russell).

I thought the idea of being a fan of a team was to support them. I think it would have been great if the crowd would have cheered Lee after the int-TD...just to give him a pick-me up. I know better than to think our fans would be capable of doing this. With "fans" like some of ours...who needs enemies?

I can't see how people are upset, he made one bad mistake the entire game, the pick 6, that's it, other than that, his incompletions were on bombs or dropped by receivers

For the record - I too am against booing LSU players.

That being said

 "the pick 6, that's it" ??!?!?!??!?! THE PICK 6 has been JL's biggest problem ALL YEAR. What's he thrown, like FIVE of them? Not to mention one in the SC game that got SC down to the 6, may as well count that one too, for SIX. Most QB's go ALL YEAR without throwing a single pick 6, JL throws one EVERY SINGLE GAME.

I have been of the opinion JL can be a great QB. But if we lose the Bammer game on his account - my opinion will change. Its time for him to stop throwing touchdowns to the other team, this is just ridiculous.

There just may be a limit. I can watch a QB throw one pick six. Even two. But three? And now four, five?

By my count - he's thrown 5 - and he didn't even play in the first couple games.

I shite you not, this is the same ignorant critique given by many of our fans, during the Perriloux recruitment saga, regarding JR's INT rate and why RP will be a better QB at LSU. RP always looked off his primary receiver according to Rant experts. JR never did...he just locked in on Bowe and threw into coverage if neccesary to get the ball to Bowe and only Bowe.

RP had a 5 INT game at a D-IAAAAAAAAAAAAAA school a month ago. JR is starting in the NFL.

Put the pipe down. Seriously, put it down.

Seriously there is alot of recruits going to be at the game next week, some sitting on the fence with interest in both programs. Our fans booing LSU players, could only help Saban.

Saban's going to love seeing the LSU fan's "catastrophe syndrome" again. Keep booing Lee and he may get to see the "brook trout" stare as well.

What a bunch of dumb asses.

I was so disgusted with the booing...and this from our "good" fans who stayed til the end...

People can say they are booing the coaches, the play calling, the nachos, whatever...but the players think it's for THEM and they hate it.

Jarret needs our support.

you guy are pretty dumb (overzealous may be a better word) for the most part.

so as a fan, i should whoop and holler to show gratitude for excellence on the field.

but for poor play (habitual poor play)i can't vocalize displeasure?

one of you knotheads wants to castrate all the people that booed.

honestly had i been at the game, i probably would not have booed, but would have been will within my right to have.

if Jarrett Lee wants to hear all of the cheers that went his way during the 2nd half of the Auburn game, maybe he should repeat that performance.

most of you in this thread remind me of someone else who wants to reward those that have done nothing to deserve it.

Booing a kid on the field shows about the same amount of class as defecating in public. In a church. On Sunday morning.
