how about several times this yr, the coach took him out when he was performing real poorly. is that equivalent to booing? he was taken out b/c the coaches didnt have confidence in him. does that make him lose confidence similarly to getting booed?

this is Div-1A at the highest level. if he cant handle a little booing after playing poorly, then he wont succeed at QB.

he'll be fine..

You are a loser.

No, all it does is destroy what little confidence the kid may have right now.

do you really think he is that thinned skinned?

He is about to face the best defense he has seen all year and these MORONS decide to boo him

i think the people were booing his 5th interception return for a touchdown.

if mediocrity is what you expect, it is what you will get.

He is fricking 19 years old and starting for LSU!!!!!!!!!!! The coaching staff is riding his arse and he has "fans" booing him. I'm sure if we put you in there you could handle that situation perfectly. Who the frick does LSU have that can play qb right now????

this is the best summary I have seen- good job-- this young man continues to throw ints that are returned for tds and we all know that we should have played jefferson earlier in the game come on

How many passes did JJ have last night? The coaches know he's not ready

4 or 5 drunktards in the crowd. Any crowd would have the same problem with the same situation. They could have been Tulane fans, ever think of that? How better to shake up the opposing QB than to boo him while he is doing poorly.

You can probably blame JL for the picks....but not the SIX. There are 10 other players on the O-side who should run after the guy making the INT!

1. Our QB can't even throw for 100 yds against Tulane, and yet some of yall think we can hang with BAMA.

So you don't trust a national championship Coach to put the best players available on the field? What does that say about you?

2. Our coach is to stubborn to realize that this Co-Defensive coordinator thing isn't working at all.

Do you want Les to fire those guys at mid season? Who do you think should be their replacements?

Like I said I don't agree with Booing players, but I think most of the people were booing the bad coaching.

Lee can play QB. I don't think anyone has said he that he couldn't.

Why do you expect people to be happy about turning the ball over?

no, i would expect to be booed for REPEATED (understand what repeated means) mistakes.

All Lee has to do is to stop making the same mistakes over and over again, and the jeers will turn to cheers.

and they all do tackling drills every day in practice.. Honestly I'm sure Lee throwing int's in positions where they are very easy to return for touchdowns is getting really old to a lot of players on the offense. Herman Johnson was the only guy who even was in the area to try and make a tackle last night.

coaches make wrong decisions all the time.

how about Scott getting only 12 carries TOTAL in the last 6 games of 07'? yeah the best player available always see the field...

It was pretty loud over the broadcast. I highly doubt it was only 4 or 5 drunktards, although I agree with your description of them.

I agree...you can understand how some, in a knee-jerk reaction to *yet another* freaking pick six, may let out a boo, but booing him after that is bullshite.

Dude is doing the best he can...if you want to boo someone for the poor QB play this season, drive to Jacksonville, Alabama and boo #11 the next time he steps on the field for Jax St.

Booing college kids is BS and there is no place for it in Tiger Stadium. I would love to see your reaction if your son or loved one were in his shoes. But then again maybe you are the type of jerk who doesn't give a damn.

geaux99, you reference JR in the NFL, have you even seen him play he sucks. Partly cause he can't break out the LB tackles like he did in college and he doesn't have 3 great WR's to bail him out when he throws in triple coverage like he did in college.

If you think Lee is great and doesn't stare down his WR's you must be blind, cause I've seen high school QB's do a better job at going through their progressions than him.
