Thank You Booger for telling the story of the LSU fan. We love Les, but we aren't paying him to be our friend. Thanks for getting the real story on the air nationally. Don't know how much this helps the black eye we are getting for from media, but at least we have someone for the first time with a voice nationally. LSU has never had this "insider" be able to speak out with a national audience. Thank you for being willing to speak against the national tide. You are doing great.

The thing that I've come to find about the media is that they aren't about reporting news anymore, they are only about ratings and you get those by rocking the boat. If LSU decides to keep Miles, all year we're going to hear from the media about how will LSU be able to maintain with Miles, or how much we've already slipped with him at the helm and we need to figure out a way to right the ship. If we part ways with him, their tune will change to, how spoiled and out of touch is the program and fan base for ousting a National Championship winning coach?

The media will always go with the story that creates the most clicks, not with what's necessarily true or objective.

He's right. Booger makes a ton of sense and successfully verbalized the entire picture.

Booger was and has been spot on ALL year with LSU and Miles.

He's a Tiger, a guy who left it all on the field for LSU every game and loves his school. SO GTFO of here with the get a room shite.

What have we become as a fanbase and a sports culture if we force out a quality human being like Les as our head coach? Some posters here need to do some serious soul searching.

He was on Mike and Mike and said that basically Les is not being paid for 13-10 SEC record over the last few years. Also, there is a fundamental issue with developing a QB and making adjustments when you stop LSU's running game. There is no plan B. He said the overall record is great, but that LSU is clearly trending down.

ETA: also said fans get tired of seeing the most players in the NFL over any school playing on sunday, and yet mediocre play on the field on saturdays.

Quality human being and great football coach are two different things though. I think nearly everyone can agree Les is a quality human being.

Yes, thanks Booger. Thanks for starting this unnecessary shitstorm that has already cost us a committ from a stud QB.

Franks said he has been thinking about this the past month. So it's not like this was the past week or so.

I appreciate Booger too, but the fickle media will immediately get over all of this less than a week after the new coach is hired.

It will have a minimally negative impact on the perception of the program unless they screw up the hire. Biggest impact will be guys who committed to play for Cam/Les instead of LSU like Franks.

LSU will be in better shape once they get past this.

LSU fans are so delusional. It would be funny if it weren't so sad.
