Its asinine to just assume he wasn't coming when we didn't negotiate.
Its asinine to think he was (after Texas fired Strong) you want proof, look how fast it happened

He acts like bama's entire team is made up of stolen LA players.

Let's say we have Hootie and Cam Robinson on the team this year. We still wouldn't have beaten Bama.

Landon Collins wasn't why we lost 2012-2014.

We would be better if we had them (besides Hootie) but Bama isn't beating usbbecause we lose a few players to them.

Also, frick "dream schools" Guess what, Saban has been winning championships since most recruits were in preschool. Bama is going to be a lot of kids dream school. Should we stop recruiting them?

You are simply a moron if you don't think Robinson and Tim Williams wouldn't have helped us win this year.

My God, losing 5 star players to one team over and over absolutely hurts us!

3 games?

Really you think Malone is the reason we lost 3 games?

And IF ONLY we had an elite pass rusher.

Arden Key>>>>> Tim Williams. and I don't see Tim Playing the F Linebacker role

.

When Texas came to the table Alleva got upset and went home.

We threw up the white flag.

Who gets upset and has pride while negotiating?

but yea "TEXAS IS HIS DREAM JOBBBB!!!"

We didn't even try to answer when he talked to Texas.

We got up and went home.

Thats ridiculous.

Water under the bridge though.

Time to get ready for the bowl game and get an OC in here.

I think we score on Fla with CR.

I think we move it better on Bama with CR

I think Williams is every bit as good as key. Both, with beck, would have made us even better.

I think that easily equates to wins, def FL, which would have us in the top 10 now.

It matters dude, stop arguing

Did you read any of the coverage regarding what happened? Doesn't sound like it from your negative comments. The reports I saw indicated Herman agreed in principal to a contract, then that info got leaked (likely Herman and/or his agent) to Texas boosters to put pressure on Texas to get rid of Strong and pursue Herman, and then Herman demanded more money from LSU knowing Texas was going to get into the mix. I am not a big fan of Alleva but he was absolutely right not to offer more money to someone who didn't honor his verbal agreement, was clearly trying to use LSU for leverage and who is still unproven (ok so Herman has a couple of great wins but those are overshadowed IMHO by some inexplicable loses to less talented teams).

I will say this, if we had Tim Williams opposite of Arden Key for this year's games, Bama probably doesn't score a point on LSU even with the holding. UF also would have had a tough time scoring anything. That guy disrupts everything.

He and pretty much everyone else, with exception of you and a few others that I don't really think believe it but just want to stay mad, knew He would end up at Texas. It looks worse to offer the guy the job and then lose out in a bidding war. It also allows Herman to make more money...frick that.

I disagree, but it doesn't matter anyway, what happened has happened. We roll on.

He may have just meant to not let them play in Tiger Stadium.

The melt is about to be over for most of us.

Time to look forward to the bowl game.

Best way to start beating Bama is for someone to give Saban a lobotomy in his sleep. Otherwise I don't see it.

I think you've gone a little too far there.....

No need to wait till he's asleep.

Exactly. Not a single person on this message board can say what did or didn't happen. If I'm wrong...show us proof that Alleva personally told you "nope, I didn't negotiate with Tom or his agent"
