I have been seeing this quite a bit through this thread. This is why most of you are posters on the rant and Aranda is coaching.
See Ross Dellenger film analysis comments in the Advocate. LSU only rushed more than 4 on five plays against OM. There must be a reason for that... Do ya think containment of the Ole Miss leading rusher (Swag) is part of that scheme. Also LSU gave up blitzes for more coverage and the result was Chad Kelly's worst game as a Ole Miss Rebel and a complete shutdown of the one of the top receivers in the NCAA - Evan Engram. Incidentally, this is the same strategy that shut down JFF for two yrs in a row.
This game is much more than just line up and everybody take off at the snap. Hurts will kill us if he is allowed to take off and run all over the field.

Hugh Freeze's offense evolves around a QB who can run and throw. Kelly has killed teams with his scrambling....he had one effective run for a first down against LSU. Give credit to Aranda for a great game plan.

Kelly also had nowhere to run...I would imagine the lack of pass rush was due to the fact we didn't want him to beat us with his legs...
I would think the same thing will happen against the "mamma" boys...

All Booger said was that the pass rush was average. He's right, that needs to improve. The D-Line wasn't getting much pressure on Kelly; and you can bet that Bama will be holding Key at least as much as Ole Miss did.
