Went to Brother Martin

Probably will see mid week bullpen action this year. Id be surprised if he does more than that considering our depth

Very good lefty pitcher. He's real crafty and can cruise about 87-89. Very good OF as well but premium value is always placed on pitching.

It is my pleasure to know the young man. Blair is a talented left handed who improved dramatically in his senior season. He has a good fastball (that should improve as he matures physically and utilizes the strength program) and a truly wicked slider. At some point in his career he will help the Tigers; like most players he will need some time to develop. Good luck to Blair.

Looks like a nice kid and was wondering why they had him featured. I tried to find out some info on Recruiting Board but they do not give a lot of info on Baseball Players.

He certainly has some potential. He's got some work to do before he becomes a starter. This season he will probably only see mid-week relief work. He lacks the velocity to be an impact pitcher on the weekends.

That being said, there's really no telling what a summer and fall in a college conditioning program has done for him. He could surprise us.

We certainly need some lefties in the pen, so maybe he will see some action if he can show some command.

Touched 90-91 and sat at 88-89 this fall. More than enough velocity from a lefty. The control was an issue this fall. He had a good outing his last time out. Hoping he can build on that.

Chad Ogea, Mike Sirotka, and Lane Mestepey say hello. Nice to have, but not necessary to be a big game pitcher.

If he truly has a wicked slider, he'll contribute right away as a lefty.

Chad Ogea may say hello left handed, but he pitched right handed.

his jersey number is 46. 46 days to go, that's why he was the featured player of the day yesterday.

The point was about non hard throwing big game pitchers. 2 happened to be left handed.

Ah. Thought you were discussing the merits of crafty lefties.

He's left handed. All that matters. Chris Cotton, anyone?
