“What we will do is go into spring and throw it wide open yet again,” Miles said. "We will let both guys compete, and I think competition will make the difference. The quarterback that comes out of spring will either be one of the two guys. Whoever it is will be much improved.
"It’s a guy who we will expect to throw the football for 250 (yards) and be able to be 20-for-31 and be a very capable and very competent passer.”

He is backed into a corner. He better go all out next year. No more holding back Leslie.

250 per game would be damn near a school record.

Expect him to go balls to the wall again, coaching for his job.

He loves to run his mouth. He has 8 full months to talk about the emperor's new clothes then he will once again be exposed in the fall.

HCB, let him talk, he is feeling the pressure now. As long as everyone doesnt get relaxed and keep the pressure on his stubborn arse he will have to go all out next year. No more conservative bullshite.

He really just has no idea. We can have a QB throw for 250 every game, and still lose.

Take what the defense gives you Les. Stop the square peg round hole philosophy. Formation teams and play to your strengths. Spread the field and hand it off to Fournette vs. 6 man boxes.

He just has no clue about modern offensive football.

Mett averaged 257 with 2 of the best WR's in LSU history. You see someone doing that next year?

He's made a laughing stock of himself.

HE is a self parody....he lies about the WANT to get certain players in the game. He LIES about needing to pass....it took an entire season to see the tight ends finally get passes in a game....THE LAST GAME OF THE SEASON!

I wasn't a negater but yesterday branded my arse glowing red and proved that Les Miles is too stubborn for his own good. Too dumb in clock management for LSU's good, and the one thing that has saved his dumb arse is he is a great recruiter.

After this years mediocre recruiting season....the decline is REAL and all of you sunshine pumpers are just happy for no reason and probably have never left Louisiana to actually see what excellence is at other places.

Les needs to stop being such a pussy and go back to his gambler/mad hatter offensive play calling. What's the worse that could happen? We are already losing to any halfway decent team. At least it would be fun again.
