NOLA: 1000 Figs on Esplanade is very good and has good vegetarian stuff. Sac-a-lait is my favorite NOLA restaurant but not sure they'll have vegetarian.

Baton Rouge has really good Mediterranean restaurants that always have tasty vegetarian options. Albasha and Romann's Café are good.

Chimes. The Gameday bloody marys are hard to beat. It's also convenient.

Besides Walk-Ons? I wouldn't eat that shitty food if they paid me. I take it back. That's the only way I'd eat their shitty food.

I really don't understand the hate for this place on here..

I've heard their food has gotten better but it used to be terrible. What do you get when you go there?

Since moving away from Baton Rouge five years ago, the three places I miss eating the most are the Chimes, Louie's Cafe, and Fleur de Lis Pizza. Obviously, Fleur de Lis is nowhere near campus, but damn I miss their pizza.

I've always loved the past time, but that's a fond memory as much as good food. Mike Andersons is always good, and you can't go wrong with the Chimes for food and Atmosphere. Go way early, eat at the Chimes, walk next door to the varsity which is a theatre of sorts playing every game on TV. Grab a giant beer for the road (sold in huge to go cups outside the varsity door) and head out to tailgate!

Yea, I used to like going to Serranos and get a couple of those big margaritas to walk around with. Not sure why they closed. Always seemed to do a good business.

TJ Ribs is prob a good place to watch the game.

Shitty food or not they make a lot of money on game days. I don't think they care about your opinion.

The food is decent. Ruffin needs to quit getting loaded and groping on the women like a cheesy game show host. I know from experience.

I eat at the one @ Town Center a lot.. Normally a burger ..Wife gets the Catfish.. There are a few other things we eat from there as well.. But I've never had anything horrible..
Also, I never been blown away. Good solid food that's worth eating
