Personally, The Absinthe House. Their TVs suck, but it's just a fun place to be.

Gordon Biersch usually draws a big Tiger following. Gets crowded though.

I watched the Saints-Jets game at the BBC for some reason. They have a giant projector screen downstairs and drinks were three for one.

French Quarter borders are the Mississippi River Canal Street, Esplanade Avenue and North Rampart Street.

Ckeck out 3 legged dog, Conti and Burgundy. 10 ft. screen, good food, reasonable drink prices. Watched several games there over the years - always a good time. Usually some eye candy in there also.

barely legal, although you might not be watching much of the game. never noticed any tv's in there, never looked, but don't think you will miss them if they do not have any.

Bourbon Street Blues has projection TVs, tons of plasma HD tvs, game on loudspeaker and 3 for 1 specials. I've tried most area bars and I think this is the best when you weigh everything.

The cons are that it's a little loud and the MC is an annoying douche who won't shut up. But if LSU is playing well it's fun.

Absinthe house is less cheesy of an atomosphere but the TVs suck, no audio, and no drink specials.

Voila is too food-oriented for me - when I watch LSU I want there to be alcohol only. Food is for AFTER the game.

This is where the bama watch party is every week. The bar is run by a bama alum and they play the band music all game. I wouldn't suggest this one.

I worked with one of the owners during an internship. The guy grew up in NOLA but still went to Alabama. Now he despises everything LSU. It was pretty funny working there in the summer of 07 because he kept talking about Miles will never win anything at LSU. 6 months later LSU had the SEC and BCS titles.
