Best debut may have been Hodson vs #5 A&M in '86 opener. 15-21 for 193 yds and 2 TDs (after starting 0-3). Showed great poise and leadership in his first game..

I remember that being an morning game on jefferson pilot sports...that game was over in the 1st quarter.

Rohan's games against 'Bama and Illinois were sensational, however it's hard to separate his performance from the best Tiger receiver ever, Mr. Josh Reed.
Russell was throwing lasers in that '06 game against Moo state. He also threw a ball through the uprights from the 50 during pregame...from his knees. What a waste of talent.

Mett's best game was 'Bama '12 and the coaches calling passing plays late instead of running on 2nd and 3 may be attributed to how well he was chunking it that night. Had to punt to 'Bama and down the tubes she went.

The gutsiest performance by a Tiger QB has to go to Hodson in the Earthquake game. How that kid was still walking by the end of the game was as much of a miracle as the winning drive.

What?

We missed a field goal vs Bama after running the ball on 2nd and 7 and 3rd and 10.

Bert started(only his second career start)but split time with running QB, Paul Lyons. Bert was 7/9 for 143 and a couple of TD passes to his 1st cousin, Andy Hamilton. Hamilton was the real star with 7 receptions for 153 yards and 3 TD's in the blowout of the Irish. TS held less than 70K back then but the noise level was deafening that night, just the same. Bert had as strong of an arm as Jamarcus but never really got to show-case it until he played for the Colts.

I still can't believe that LSU lost to Alabama in 2012 with Mett playing the game of his life, OBJ, Landry, and Hill and that killer defense. There is no excuse for it. IN Tiger Stadium with it rocking like I've never seen. 1/9/12 was the fall from dominance, but that game was the beginning of a slide to mediocrity.

LSU is 20-12 from that night on.
