the whole team went to sleep in the last five minutes, and Bama gets the calls in basketball just like they do in football. No home court advantage when playing the Crimson Tide.

Ben appears to be more interested in making Pete Maravich passes than he does in winning games. Playing here is just an experiment to him.

TQ needs to be benched again. He does better off the bench.

Both are space cadets, IMO.

I don't mean to bash him but quarterman has been horrible the past 3 games.

His FT shooting played a big part in the end of the SC game too. I don't care how many you make afterwards, you need to make them when they count.

Disturbing fact- this is yet another game where the other team has a far more dominant player on the court than anything LSU had. I'm getting tired of hearing how great Simmons will be 5 years from now. I'm not a Simmons fan, I'm an LSU fan. Simmons happens to play for my team. As a homer fan, I admit freely that he looks overrated, and I wish he wasn't. I wish he lived up to the hype. I don't care about stats or poses after dunks, I care about meaningful play when the game is on the line.

This board severely overrates him in the first place.

IMHO Ben plays a lazy game including his FT shooting. I certainly don't see any improvement in his game since the start.

Ben has put up great stats, but I'm not sure he's made a clutch basket for us yet. I watched the Duke-UNC game after ours and I'd almost rather have Brandon Ingram over Simmons. The guy is a gamer.

Simmons has an attitude like he's to good to be here, but he doesn't look that good, or its better to say he is good but a bit overated, great skills and talent but no heart whatsoever

We seem to go as Quarterman goes, unfortunately. When he's off he keeps forcing it, and when we lose, he seems to make the bone-headed play that turns it for the other team...the passes to no one, and last night the foul that gave them the 4 point play...

This is very true. The ONLY game where Ben said frick everyone I'm going to win this shite was the Vandy game. I just feel like Ben isn't leaving it all on the floor night in and night out like he should be for a guy that's considered "the next lebron"

how many FTs did he shoot last night? I mean...yeah he missed a lot of them

but he was driving hard to get fouled

that doesn't equal lack of effort

This is to blame more than Simmons. I saw on several occasions where BS looked pissed at either Bama or his team mates and make some pretty aggressive moves. If he keeps that intensity for a full game, he'd be unstoppable.

all of this. this team would be better without Simmons on the court at times. Jones gets a pass for this year in my book. He's trying to coach a kid who has publicly stated his Dad taught him from a young age not to listen to coaches. You think Jones really has any influence or control over the kid? I dont....

Can't blame the refs for last night. Look at the free throws difference. Lsu lost cause they can't hit free throws and shoot like crap. Fact.
