LSU being #3 is a joke with their schedule they have played compared to any other team...

That's what I'm saying too. What happened to strength of schedule?

Boise State ranked ahead of LSU in CBSSports.com 120? Anyone who voted in that poll doesn't know anything about college football.

Log-in to rate:Log-in to rate:Log-in to rate:The first official release of the BCS is due today. Also making its debut will be Peter Wolfe's rankings.

Sagarin's and Colley's ratings are already available.

The polls are out also, and the Harris folks still love LSU, which has made the race for #1 incredibly tight. The current projection has a difference of only .0030 between No. 1 Alabama and No. 3 LSU. Essentially, those three teams (with No. 2 Oklahoma) could appear in any order.

Wisconsin is now a solid No. 4 in both polls, and receiving a smattering of first place votes, however, the Badgers' strength of schedule in the early part of the season as been so bad, that the computers are knocking them all the way down to 6th overall.

Oklahoma State will be the No. 4 team in the BCS on the strength of being the top-rated team in the computers.

Note that my projections are only for the top 25 in each computer ranking.

You can see the current projection chart here

It may turn out to be right, but this is their expert's opinion based on the polls. It isn't official (not that it matters anyway).

Ha!

Isn't ESPN planning some special to announce this?

Great job, CBS. :golfclap:

This just proves we shouldn't worry about scheduling anyone out of conference. I was pissed as a season ticket holder after we put Towson on the schedule for next year. To he'll with that. Schedule Towson, slu, southern, and McNeese every year from now on.

UF and MSU aren't the "value" wins we thought they'd be. NWS also hurts us.

Good thing we play Alabama otherwise we could be shut out of the MNC.

Yes, and those will be the official rankings. The link is to CBS' projections.

Sep 24 @Texas A&M Won 30-29

Is this a better schedule than ours? Confused.

The computers consider the B12 the toughest conference this year based on its W/L record versus non-conference schedule.

It is something that helps OSU and OU a lot at this point.

our 1AA game is one of the bigger reasons why our computer scores will be weak

I get that but I don't understand why wins over Tulsa, Kansas, FSU.....

or wins over Kent State and North Texas...

are putting OU and Bama ahead of us.

Even though MSU and Florida were ranked when we played them, it obviously doesn't help when those teams continue to drop games. Honestly, I thought we'd be 2 but being in the top 3 is good.
