re: BCS projection is out, LSU #3

Once again, it doesn't mean much now because what is ahead of LSU. That being said, if this is true and was the final BCS after regular season then someone would have to explain this to me..WTF? Quite frankly, there is NO comparison between what LSU has done and anyone else! Regardless of how the coaches/media feels we match up with the others, LSU has proven it on the field, as it should be judged...less than #1 ranking so far is unacceptable and a f'n joke...

So by highlander rules if we slay Bama. We should absorb the the #1 powers?

Well then, why does the BCS ranking only count 4 computers? Nobody really knows how the standings are computed, but I think that you can take out the lowest ranking teams (maybe only 1 game taken off) because there are always outliers. Plus, when you play multiple top 25 teams week in and week out, when you're playing only 12-13 games it can really mess up the average.

It's like Boise State playing middle of the pack opponents every year, all year, while teams like Alabama plays top tier opponents with one I-AA team and they can still manage to rank higher than an undefeated Boise with one loss on the books.

Espn news just had brad edwards on saying LSU was going to be #1 when the bcs comes out tonight.

Settle down people.
