FACT:

Under John Brady, we had 8 out of 11 seasons without a winning SEC record.

Where is the argument for keeping him again????

Izzo did bring in the studs (which did happen to stick around)

i.e.
Shannon Brown
Marquise Gray
Delvon Roe
Adrean Payne (2010)

just sayin, although TJ did get the Lopez twins.

All the negative people about Trent Johnson are no different than those who bashed Paul Maineri early on.

They are both proven Head Coaches and need a chance to turn around a program. Mainieri did that, we need to give TJ the same chance.

3 SEC titles, Final Four, multiple SEC Freshman players of the Year, multiple SEC Players of the Year. Break down each of those seasons and you will understand what happened. I know NEGATIGERS hate to do any analysis beyond the record.

Dude I'm not saying we didn't have a few good seasons under Brady but thats not what we should be satisfied with. THREE GOOD YEARS out of 11??? Thats what we want???

NEGATIGERS told us a coaching change would fix everything. Two coaches later, NEGATIGERS have nothing but egg on their face. Sports tutoring $250/hr, cut rate. Let me know.

Did you break down the seasons to get the real picture? NO!

I mean there's one trump card for the pro-TJ crowd that I've been hesitant to pull. If Brady is so damn good why is he coaching Arkansas State?

Trent Johnson has been coach of the year in three conferences.

You mean like the consistency of the last two years? You NEGATIGERS are the worst posters on the planet!

The up and down seasons the past two years are exactly like the previous seasons under Brady. No one knew what to expect. The only difference is that Trent Johnson is now the coach.

Dude, you hate LSU fans. We get it. Still doesn't change the fact that Brady was fired, most LSU fans were happy about that, and we have a new coach that will get the same chance Brady had to develop the program.

You are judging Trent Johnson on less than 2 full seasons. We are judging Brady on 11. Exactly. And enough with the "break down the season" shite. Facts are facts. He didn't get it done here, he sucks, nobody else wanted him either, which is why he is where he's at.

The simple fact is that regardless of record or accomplishments Brady was a POS human being and that is good enough of a reason to be done with him...

Just look at his recent comments concerning the state of LSU basketball and you'll see he has no class whatsoever.

He treated Josh Maravich like a pile of dog shite for years. I'm not saying he had to play him more if he wasn't good enough, but he did everything he could to make him a laughingstock and embarrass him in front of his teammates.

From what I hear he alienated everybody who meant anything to the basketball program at LSU. Trent is bringing it back though.

2008-injuries to Taz and CJ hurt no doubt, but the team still had 2 of the SECs best scorers and its best defender but still lost a shitload

2007-preseason top 5. Struggled early against good teams but seemed to turn it around against a ranked UCONN team, but then went on to start 2-7 in the SEC and ending up 5-11 and last place in the West despite only losing 2 players from the Final Four team.

2006-won the SEC outright. Had a great run in the tournament but then got thoroughly outcoached by UCLA

2005-a decent season culminating in a fantastic finish in the SEC but ending one of the worst coached losses in history to UAB.

2004- One of the easiest schedules in history. The only decent non conference team we played was UAB who we beat, but then got embarrassed by a poor Houston team. Played decent in the SEC giving them a 9-7 record and a NIT berth...but then got circles run around us by OU

This is too painful to go back any further

Exactly! So why was thunderbird talking about the lack of consistency under Brady.

Wrong, blind man. I hate NEGATIGERS . If most of the "fans" were glad about firing Brady, why don't they even go to the games? NEGATIGERS were a joke during the Brady era, and they are a joke now!

Nice attempt at white washing. I'm sure you were not calling for Brady's head while he was here. Don't run away from who you are.
