Why does he pop up so much? I have never seen anyone hit more infield popups in one year than him. Is it an uppercut swing or dropping the back shoulder some?

Him too! But I guess because he hasn’t played as much I don’t see it as often.

Cade is ice cold. We will need him to be productive tonight to advance. Expect Oregon to pitch around Dylan

If Crews sees a fastball anywhere near the zone with a base open they deserve whatever happens to them.

Swinging tense. Needs to relax and make solid contact.

If I'm Oregon, the closest thing Crews sees of a pitch is from the on deck circle. Yes. Even as leadoff. We hit into a lot of double plays. Put him on and throw some low breaking balls and try to get a ground ball to get a double play.

For the season, we’re actually in the bottom half of the SEC when it comes to GIDP.

We just picked a bad time to start doing so.

Dropping his back shoulder.
As someone mentioned though, it's more the new baseball. It's all about trying to go deep. He's just barely missing but it results in pop ups. Looks like he tried to correct last night and over- corrected

True, but for part of the season we had trouble getting on base to be in position to get a double play.

Your back shoulder is supposed to drop when you swing. At least in elite hitters.

Patience, IMO

He's literally swinging 1st pitch almost every at-bat.
