As someone mentioned though, it's more the new baseball. It's all about trying to go deep. He's just barely missing but it results in pop ups. Looks like he tried to correct last night and over- corrected

Nah it’s a timing thing with him. The way he rocks to time his swing. He has some issues with his feet too. Lot of moving parts creates inconsistent contact. He either hits low lying grounders or pop ups.

Granted most of his HRs were high fly balls. But launched at a better angle. That proved easier to do against lower tiered pitching

Not sure about cade specifically but if he isn’t dropping hands early could be leading w too much elbow. That tends to put barrel underneath ball

Cade needs to flatten his swing plane and try to start hitting to right field

Its only been a problem this weekend. He is just pressing

This. I think it’s been more than just this weekend, but overall he needs to be more patient. If you are swinging at the first pitch it needs to be exactly what you are looking for. You should never be giving a half arse defensive swing when you are ahead in the count.

Move Arnold back two spots. They won't pitch around Crews wwith Morgan behind him - at least not with no one on.

I like Bianco’s battling at the plate and not swinging for the fences, the young man has really improved the last month. He’s a tough out now.

I’ve been noticing that he has been picking up/moving his back foot lately when he swings. Seems unbalanced.

He is pressing and trying to pull everything. He needs to keep his hands back on those outside 1/3 pitches and put it out in RC. Arnold is doing a good job of that lately. Morgan does it well from the left side.

It's a shame coach Smith doesn't see the same correctable thing most on this board has been seeing to help Cade. I hope you phone coach Smith and give him a heads up before tonight's game.
I'd be happy if Cade didn't swing at the 1st fricking pitch every at bat, maybe be more selective, try to make the pitcher work 6 or more pitches until maybe you can get a pitch to drive. Just a suggestion.
