I think that song takes on new meaning this week

Are you implying that it had any meaning before this week?

jesus we have some whiners in here. the song gets the players pumped. plain and simple. end of story. doesnt matter that you think the song is bad. its not for you.

after reading the responses it seems like some of you people want us to sit in silence while the band plays the flight of the bumble bee. what a fun and intimidating place that would be.

and to those who say that songs (any songs) that get a reaction out of the players doesnt help then i question whether youve actually played a sport and felt the unexplainable emotions that come with strong competition. it may not make sense to you, but anything that gets a player a little more hyped can have an affect on the outcome of games.

ETA: they edit out the word Bitch from the song so the we shouldnt say the B word in tiger stadium arguent falls a little flat.

I bet 75-80% of the fans don't even know the words to the song. It's hard to understand...just has a good beat that let's everybody dance while cheating. Took my 3 yr old to a game earlier this yr and he's been singing "what, what, weasel....what, what, weasel" ever since.

Absolutely. But I also acknowledge that I am in the minority.

Yeah man you pegged me. Or I'm the guy who has been in TS since he was 3 years old. I was the guy who barely had a voice at his business meeting in California 2 days after the Ole Miss game. I am the guy that stands the entire game since my seats are on the top row of the bowl. Yeah you got me pegged buddy.

And I'm also the guy who has already expressed in this very thread that I don't mind most piped in music as long as it isn't complete crap (see suggestion for more "Mobbin" by Grandtheft). The song is terrible. It grates the ears. And the fact that they edit out "bitch" and use that stutter actually somehow makes it worse.

well if thats the guy you are then you should also be the guy that realizes that playing songs that the team enjoys and gets pumped to is more important than playing songs that you enjoy. because only a selfish fan would take that away from the players that bust their tails day in and dayout.

im glad you are true fan and respect that. i just think you are being bull headed on this issue and are putting yourself before the guys that put the pads on and fight for your enjoyment.

No I just realize there are hundreds of other songs that would get the same effect out of them. Just like when this one wears out its welcome it will be replaced with another which is hopefully not as objectively awful. It's hard to imagine that a song could be

Freudian slip?

Debating this is retarded, who gives a shite if they play Patsy Cline or Lil Jon, profanity or not...why do you really care enough to argue over such stupid shite. If you go to LSU/Bama and give two farts or a frick about what music is playing, you have a priority problem. Lets all hold hands and sing kumbaya AFTER LSU kicks that arse...

CRob will become sad because he actually loves Louisiana but he is representing Bama.

LC will not care and it will probably be motivation for him. He has no love for his home state. I hope when his football days are over he has a little home in Alabama where he can live forever.

Those guys have been real bitches this week with the smack talk. Which is dumb to me considering you decided to leave the state on your own.

This. They decide to leave the state then care too much what the people of the state they left think about them. Mental midgets. Not that all high profile kids instate have to stay; they just need to understand that they are considered sellout Uncle Toms when they leave. The people of Louisiana have pride and view these kids to be little traitor arse bitches when they leave. Right or wrong, it's the Bottom line.

And no one really gives 2 shits about hootie or Cam sims. LSU didn't even want them.
