Auburn 2013 - Bad loss to LSU but still played for championship

LSU would obviously have to show some considerable improvement to even remotely consider the possibility but there is a precedent.

No comparison.

If not for Jeremy Hill breaking off 2 long runs, we may have lost that game.

And Auburn put up nearly 500 yards of offense on us.

You are right, but this board isn't a place for comments like this. At least not for a couple months after we win 5-6 straight. While it is understandable to see some frustration after Saturday, don't expect to find much reason here for a while.
