Thanks for the link to this article. For the first time since Wade’s suspension I have a little bit of hope that we might get our coach back so we won’t go one and done. AND THEN HEADS NEED TO ROLL IN THE ADMINISTRATION!!!

And another that's been terribly wrong during this entire situation. Just need Lester now.

Didn’t you goofballs get taken hook, line, and sinker by someone claiming the same on Monday afternoon?

Until there is an official announcement from LSU, it’s probably smart to hope for the best, but expect the worst.

I’m convinced now more than ever that McKay gets his information from this site

After the mess the leak of those transcripts has made of his job and his program, and at this point it’s positively not resolved if any of it can be fixed to either the coach or LSU’s satisfaction, it’s difficult to see how Will Wade is going to be much of a friendly witness for Christian Dawkins’ attorneys if and when he shows up to the federal court in New York. What lawyer is going to call a witness with a grudge against his client if he doesn’t have to?

I thought this was among the more underrated parts of the story.

Mainly because it’s something we tend to forget — the defense likely leaked to Yahoo, which has in turn damaged Wade. What’s the point of doing that to someone you want in your corner

Except that article could be hearsay and based on rumors.
I never trust McKay in any subject.

Agreed. That was a fine piece of fiction.

Not only are we going to lose WW. We should immediately get rid of the current compliance leadership. Hire a new group. Compliance has to do,their job.. but there is no place for contentious carry overs.

It is insanity to,have the NCAA in the initial meeting.

because if the meeting devolves into a cross-examination involving material he might have to testify about at that trial in April, it could well put him in a dreaded perjury trap.

Would it be a perjury trap if WW is not under oath in LSU meeting?

But Wade isn’t blameless, either. We’re told that he refused an initial meeting with Alleva and Alexander two Fridays ago, after the Yahoo! Sports piece came out, and then changed his mind and agreed – but by the time he rethought his position the NCAA had called and requested to take part.

and this is a real zinger. What a dumbass

It should read but by that time LSU compliance had called NCAA and requested them to take part

frick the compliance department on the issue with signing the Williams Boyz based upon allegations.

That isn’t a compliance issue at all.

Today is travel day so it’s probably wishful thinking they sort it out. Hope they do.

Yes because even if he’s not under oath at the meeting, he will be under oath if he has to testify in the trial. Someone who was at the meeting could then be subpoenaed and called as a witness to verify whether what Wade said was in line with what he said at the meeting. If the two stories didn’t match up could be trouble especially considering the NCAA would likely keep a record of what he says at a potential meeting.

My favorite part of the article. Our only hope to get some changes made.

Dropping that game to Florida might be for the best long term

It’ll play out like the Waterboy with Wade showing up at halftime of the Yale game with us down 15.

Wade enters the locker room yelling...

“WAS IT OVER WHEN WILL WADE SHOWED UP AT HALFTIME AND THE TIGERS WON THE NCAA TOURNAMENT!?!”

Tigers then beat Yale by 50 and win the whole fricking thing.
