Pretty fair analysis

I was shocked at how bad he looked (etling). Since he took over the thing that impressed me most about him was his poise and awareness in the pocket... with all due fairness to Danny, his oline didn't give him much of a chance to get comfortable, but you have to give credit to bama's d-line.. I think that lsu's WRs are better than bama's DBs this year but we never got a chance to find out

Look at it like this just for fun, Bama beat us 10-0. If every team they played so far had our defense, they would be 4-3-2 with one of those ties being with Western Kentucky. They are beatable, and if we would have had a pulse on offense, could have won that game.

Didn't Bama get more yards in the first 2011 game?

Let me tell you why this is stupid. Jacksonville state and Moo state scored more on us than Bama did. Does that mean they are better offensively than Bama? Of course not. If folks can not see that for BOTH teams, this is THE game of the year, and they prepare like no other, then I don't know what to tell you. In that case, you're either just ill informed, or a Bama fan who refuses to admit that to the team, this is a huge rivalry game.

I get it, the transitive property doesn't work, etc etc

But you really don't think the Bama D was dialed in to play Ole Miss, a team they'd lost to twice in a row? And yet Ole Miss had 23 first downs and 522 total yards against them.

I agree. The game was lost up front with Bama's D-Line. Etling didn't have much time to throw to those talented receivers. I was thinking they should have taken more shots down the field as well in some one on one battles. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it was Chark who came down with the ball on the long pass. Would have liked to have seen more of that.

Our offensive stats against Mizzou, Southern Miss, and Ole Miss set us up with a falst sense of security.

Middle Tennessee State put 50+ on Mizzou.

And we beat Ole Miss. So what's your point?

All we needed was 11 points. We couldn't even get close. Clean house.

Arkansas and Ole Miss showed the Alabama defense is not invincible. We probably have more talent than those 2 teams at every offensive position but QB. But we couldn't find a way to scheme around that deficiency.

True, but LSU was tied for 3 quarters....they played close to the vest, punted and made Bama drive the field...which they couldn't. I don't disagree with the strategy necessarily I would have just liked to see LSU spread the field a little more while still running "safe" plays.

And also, I would have really liked to see Guice a little more. Dude ran like a man possessed on two carries... and didn't see the field again... so silly.

Honestly, Orgeron/Ensminger coached like they were scared to lose, which was a hallmark of Miles against Bama.

We need a Coach who will come in and wreck shite and play ball to our strengths regardless of who we are lining up against. I think Bama/Saban are in O's head too after Saturday night.

LSU's D matched Alabama's in the first half, but in the second half Alabama was moving the ball a little bit while LSU continued to go 3 and out every possession.

And you don't see that as a reason why the defense finally broke?

Arkansas has a much stouter Oline. They match up well in the trenches. They also have a simpler but more effective blocking scheme. Our oline is soft and the blocking scheme just isn't working for us. It should have been scrapped after last year.

Us and Kent State are the only two teams that couldn't score on them.

"Would you rather lose like they did?"

100% YES. The reason for this is rather obvious. Playing them more in their fashion increases your chance at winning. Ole Miss beat AL two straight and came pretty close to making it three in a row this year.
