Arkansas scored 30 on them, Ole Miss scored 43 on them, and...

...we just needed 11. That is what leaves a bitter taste in everyone's mouth.

Arkansas and Ole Miss showed the Alabama defense is not invincible. We probably have more talent than those 2 teams at every offensive position but QB. But we couldn't find a way to scheme around that deficiency.

We shouldve only needed 7 if neal being held is called then they settle for fg. At best 6-0 game.

However their D did a better job than our D and deserved the game. We probably still lose with those calls going our way.

We got six first downs. Alabama is excellent but six first downs is unacceptable against any opponent, ever.

This just isn't true. Our D outplayed their D. We had SEVERAL opportunities in the 1st half and we just didn't execute. Simple as that.

How did Alabama end up with more yards? More first downs? More points?

LSU's D matched Alabama's in the first half, but in the second half Alabama was moving the ball a little bit while LSU continued to go 3 and out every possession.

They get way more pumped up for us than anyone else. Watch their DLine against everyone else. Not nearly as good as against us.

Let me tell you why this is stupid. Jacksonville state and Moo state scored more on us than Bama did. Does that mean they are better offensively than Bama? Of course not. If folks can not see that for BOTH teams, this is THE game of the year, and they prepare like no other, then I don't know what to tell you. In that case, you're either just ill informed, or a Bama fan who refuses to admit that to the team, this is a huge rivalry game.

Both of these teams had good quarterbacks playing Bama. Over the years, Bama has gotten a notch in the L column against QB's that are pretty good. Bo Wallace wasn't great but got it done, Johnny Manziel, Chad Kelly, Trevor Knight, Cardale Jones, and I'm sure I'm missing one. They also had to fight to beat Deshaun Watson at Clemson. Spread teams and good QB's is Bama's kryptonite.

Would you rather lose like they did?

Arky lost 49-30 and Allen had 3int's and a fumble for a TD.

You play aggressive on Bama, you might score points, but you will GIVE them points.

A loss is a loss.

LSU was never going to hang 30 on Bama. All week everyone said for us to win Etling would have to do something to the win the game. He didn't really lose it for us but he didn't do anything to win it.

Correct me if I am wrong "I am not though" but isn't QB the most important position on the field? And it isn't even close as the the QB talent difference between Kelly and Etling or Allen. Etling had a 46% completion rate on Saturday, you ain't beating Bama with that kind of completion rate and we didn't.

Thanks to poor coaching. It's not even close to lack of talent compared to the top teams. We've currently got the most players in the NFL.

Saban had 2 weeks to prepare for the same playbook he's seen for the past 4 damn years....Ray Charles could have game planned to stop that offense....and he's blind....and DEAD!

Coach, listen, you coached a great game but when you say things like "simple as that" you need to realize facts are more important:

I said that all week as well. Great game to watch by the way. Y'all played very well. But, I said if Fournette didn't get going that LSU would struggle because Etling isn't the type of QB to win games with his arm.

Well Mr. Reality good thing our defense didn't go up against their defense... it would have looked like two monkeys fricking a beach ball
