Bo Mattingly of 96.3 ESPN radio in Fort Smith, Arkansas, which operates a state-wide sports show, stated that we may be naive not to think that the LSU Gorilla Ball teams were not using steroids. He sited that if you look at the time period LSU broke the home run record combined with the huge number of home runs the Tigers hit in comparison to any other team in the nation, one must speculate that something illegal could have been going on.

Is that really a stretch to think that?

No need to speculate on 5 titles to zero for the Hogs.

Leave it to a radio guy to come up with this utterly original thought.

It's naive to think only LSU teams were using!

Most LSU fans I know kinda joke about that obvious possibility, however, coming from an Arkansas fan the response becomes frick off it was all legit.

I think most colleges are using steroids, I don't care though. It makes games more fun.

That arkansas guy stole my idea!! Except he's stupid bc whatever was going on lsu was definitely not the only one doing it. It was going on everywhere. Lance Berkman hit 41 homers for rice that same year. Lsu was just the best at whatever "it" was.

they were being tested in NCAA long before MLB, our guys were on the creatine stuff and a workout routine that was more like a football team's.

First of all. I have heard nothing but whining a bitching from the Arky fanbase since the arse beating on Monday.

Secondly, I'm pretty sure we openly admitted at one point and time that Creatine was basically passed around like water.

Maybe they were.

Way to leave the bats out of the equation.

Ever since the NC2A dialed the bats down, everybody has lowered their HR totals by a HUGE margin. It seems if LSU was juicing or still is, we would still be hitting 130-40 HRs even with smaller bats.

Belle, Mouton, and Hymel were really big guys. I've always suspected they did...but who gives a shite. I'm sure LSU was the ONLY team to perform such evil acts.

Larson too...forgot about him. And who was popeye? Someone help me out. Wes Grisham. That was it.
