Hard to do anything when the DE comes in untouched from the QBs blind side. (Not to mention the safety valve is RB flare on that same blind side.)

my point exactly...the poor boy doesn't know how to run a QB sneak because, for some odd reason, Fischer never let the 6'6" freak do it. Instead, on 4th and inches, he would call a hand-off to addai (or whoever) which would occur some 4 or 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage. This left too much room for error.

It happens when an untouched DE comes in wailing on your blind side 1 second after the snap.

No excuse for letting ball just SLIP out of your hands. His hands are huge. How many times did Brooks also let this happen.

Its a shame when former Tigers are degraded by LSU fans in nonsensical and/or premature ways.

I have seen it happen a lot to Favre as well. But heaven forbid people, especially LSU fans, give Jamarcus the benefit of the doubt as a young QB. Instead some try to make what they consider the most insulting comparisons they can.

(Although if Jamarcus performs as a Raider as Aaron Brooks did in his early Saints career, he will have been worth that #1 pick.)

Nah, Aaron Brooks was okay, but never #1 pick material.

Raiders will be more than satisfied with Russell's passing performance, if in his first 69 starts(Brooks' first 5 years) his numbers are:

16200 yards (235 yards game)
107 TDs
67 INTs
